(KGTV) - A SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket will launch from Florida Wednesday afternoon with a planet-searching satellite on board for NASA.The Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite (TESS) is part of a mission to find exoplanets that periodically block part of the light from their host stars, events called transits, NASA said.TESS will survey the nearest and brightest stars for two years to search for transiting exoplanets, according to scientists. NASA’s satellite will look for stars 30 to 100 times brighter than those observed by the Kepler satellite launched in 2009.TESS also will scan a larger area than Kepler, NASA officials said. It will spend about a month at a time focusing on one portion of sky, eventually covering the entire sky. The book includes information about Smart’s abduction in 2002, when she was 14 years old. Smart was held captive by Mitchell and Wanda Barzee for nine months.Before Smart’s kidnapping, Mitchell deliberately went to a Mormon church in East County to find a girl to victimize, Smart wrote. (KGTV) -- A 22-year-old woman was arrested after Customs and Border Protection officers searching her car discovered nearly 10 pounds of fentanyl pills hidden in various household items, a bag of Corn Nuts, and a fire extinguisher.The discovery and arrest happened at around 7 p.m. on Aug. 22, at the Calexico West Port of Entry, CBP officials said.Officials said the woman driving an Acura TSX was entering the border crossing when she was stopped by officers and questioned.According to officials, an officer “noticed inconsistencies in her story and referred her and the vehicle for a more intensive examination.”With the help from a K9 team, officers were alerted to something suspicious in the car’s trunk. Officers then found 26 packages of fentanyl hidden in items such as a bar of soap, hair cream, lotion, milk containers, a bag of Corn Nuts, and a fire extinguisher.The pills, with a street value of about 1,500, and the car were seized by officers.The woman, a U.S. citizen, was arrested and turned over to Homeland Security, officials said. 1063

(CNN) -- Two Disney employees were arrested in a child pornography sting orchestrated by the Polk County Sheriff's Office in Florida.They were among 17 men nabbed in an undercover sting operation, according to a press release from the agency.Brett Kinney, 40, of Lake Alfred, Florida, told investigators he was a guest experience manager at Disney World, according to the release. Kinney was arrested and charged with one count of promotion of child pornography and 24 counts of possession of child pornography-enhanced, the release said.A Disney spokesperson told CNN by phone that Kinney was no longer employed with the company following his arrest in the sting.In the release, the sheriff's office alleges that Kinney would search online for images of boys from toddlers to 10 years old. He was caught during a peer- to -peer investigation of alleged child pornography.When confronted by investigators, Kinney told them that he had an addiction to child pornography and had been viewing it for 22 years, according to the release.A second Disney employee, Donald Durr Jr., was also arrested by the Polk County Sheriff's Office. Durr, 52, of Davenport, Florida, told investigators he was a custodial worker at Walt Disney Resorts. He was arrested and charged with eight counts of possession of child pornography and one count of promotion of sexual performance by a child.Durr is on unpaid leave, a Disney spokesperson told CNN.Investigators discovered an electronic tablet with three images of child pornography and a DVD created by Durr nine years ago showing explicit images of a child, the sheriff's press release said.Durr described himself during an interview with detectives as "a pervert, but not a monster," according to the release.CNN has reached out to both men for responses to the charges they face but has not yet heard back.
