One-time strangers are capturing the attention of tens of thousands of people on the internet.Their Virginia Beach photo shoot left many people hoping their on-camera chemistry develops into something more.Baxter Jackson says he “was not expecting somebody as beautiful as [her]” when he met Heather John. The nerves quickly settled for Jackson after he saw John for the first time during a “stranger session” photo shoot at Stumpy Lake Natural Area. The stranger session looks more like and engagement shoot to many people. When asked if they felt the chemistry, Johnson said, “If I say there was no chemistry, I’d be lying.”The photo shoot was Sunday and the pictures were posted Monday. More than 45,000 shares and 15,000 comments later, social media is captivated by the images and the idea that this is only this beginning.“I shared them and then I checked back probably 30 minutes later and I was like, 'Oh my goodness - this escalated really quickly!' I FaceTime him and I was like, 'Have you seen this? It’s wild!'” says John. The internet sounded off, saying divine intervention is at work and foreshadowing a future for the two.Photographer Cassie Bailey picked the pair after putting out an ad asking for a single male and female to do a stranger shoot.“I got home and edited [the pictures] and I was just like, ‘Am I ready to share this? What is going to happen?" says Bailey. The social media reaction has been overwhelmingly positive, but some have criticized the close contact of all three strangers during a pandemic. They say they felt safe because they all recently tested negative for coronavirus. “If we all tested negative, I felt that it was completely safe for us to work together for them to be as close for me to be up close to them,” says Bailey.Bailey likely won’t be doing anymore stranger session before returning home to Louisiana next month. As for Heather and Baxter, they say they are not dating - but they do have “at least three dates” planned. President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump announced Friday they tested positive for COVID-19, and for the second time this week the world’s focus has shifted to Cleveland, where the timeline of the president’s actions included most of Trump’s family members not wearing masks during the presidential debate, even though they were required indoors for audience members, per the protocols established by the Cleveland Clinic.Although the first lady and the president’s children Ivanka, Don Jr., Eric and Tiffany walked into the debate venue wearing a mask, they sat down and watched the debate without them, in spite of rules mandating everyone in the room wear a surgical blue mask, according to media reports from the night of the debate. (AP Photo/Julio Cortez) Based on notes from the pool of journalists with Joe Biden in the debate hall, a Cleveland Clinic doctor in a white lab coat attempted to get some of the president's guests to wear a mask. The doctor started to approach Trump family guests and offered them one in case they didn't have one. Based on the TV pool notes from journalists inside the debate room, "the doctor never approached the family but as she got closer to them, someone shook their head and no one she reminded to put on a mask ended up putting one on."Dr. Jill Biden, Sen. Chris Coons and others in the Democratic section began to look over, press pool notes state. "Trump family members began to ask their guests what had happened. When the doctor, who refused to comment to the press, walked off the floor, a debate hall staffer told her 'That’s all you can do.'"Ivanka posted a photo before the event wearing a mask, which came off during the debate. The clinic is serving as the health security adviser to the Commission on Presidential Debates, which guides the commission on safety matters for all four 2020 general election debates. The Cleveland Clinic released a statement Friday confirming that masking was one of the requirements in place for the debate, and that the candidates and those traveling with them all tested negative for coronavirus before entering the debate hall. The full statement reads:“As health advisor to the Commission on Presidential Debates and the host site, we had several requirements to maintain a safe environment that align with CDC guidelines- including temperature checks, hand sanitizing, social distancing and masking. Most importantly, everyone permitted inside the debate hall tested negative for COVID-19 prior to entry. Individuals traveling with both candidates, including the candidates themselves, had been tested and tested negative by their respective campaigns. Based on what we know about the virus and the safety measures we had in place, we believe there is low risk of exposure to our guests. Out of an abundance of caution we are reaching out to our guests to address any questions and concerns, as well as offering testing. We will continue to monitor the information being released by the White House.”Trump mocks Biden for wearing a maskDuring the debate, Trump mocked Democratic presidential nominee and former Vice President Joe Biden for wearing a mask."I don't wear masks like him. Every time you see him, he's got a mask," he said Tuesday. "He could be speaking 200 feet away and he shows up with the biggest mask I've ever seen." Pres. Trump mocks Joe Biden on the issue of masks: "I don't wear masks like him. Every time you see him, he's got a mask. Multiple sources told ABC News that some believed his fatigue stemmed from the intensity of his rally schedule while others began to think it could be coronavirus.Hope Hicks, one of the president's closest advisers, was also on Marine One, the president’s helicopter, when it left the White House to fly to Joint Base Andrews on Wednesday. She was seen walking to the helicopter with other top presidential advisers. None of them were wearing masks. On Thursday, Hicks tested positive for the coronavirus. Trump later flew to New Jersey for a fundraiser. On Friday, Trump tweeted shortly before 1 a.m. that he and the first lady tested positive for COVID-19.RELATED: Timeline of Trump’s activities in week coronavirus hit home This story originally reported by Kaylyn Hlavaty on News5Cleveland.com 5312

Video of a man shooting a flamethrower on top of an MTA bus has sparked an NYPD investigation, police said Tuesday. The incident happened on Nov. 8 around 5:30 p.m. in Brooklyn, according to the NYPD.The wild video shows a shirtless man jumping from the top of an ice cream truck onto an MTA bus that had just pulled up alongside it. The man then shoots the flamethrower, spraying flames into the sky and onto the ground before jumping onto the street, the video shows. Brooklyn is LIT #whatisnewyork pic.twitter.com/XNLNmaC01v— WhatIsNewYork (@whatisny) November 17, 2020 The video appears to have been part of the filming of a music video by a rapper called Dupree G.O.D, according to his Instagram account.Another video posted to Dupree G.O.D’s Instagram shows the same incident from above, possibly filmed by a drone.“We shut Franklin Avenue down. With amazing energy. We are in this together. We the illest. Video coming,” part of the caption said.Police were called to the scene but officers who arrived found no evidence of fire and could not find any witnesses, according to the NYPD.Police said they were made aware of the video after it was posted on social media Tuesday.A police spokesperson called the video shoot "impromptu and illegal," adding that the NYPD was not aware of any permits for the shoot. The NYPD is also investigating possible drone use in the video shoot. The MTA said 25 passengers were on the B26 bus when the man jumped onto the roof. No injuries were reported. The bus was discharged at the following stop and passengers were transferred to another bus, the MTA said.“We don’t even need to say how absurd, dangerous and just plain stupid this was. The reckless individual who torched over the top of an occupied bus put New Yorkers, including the bus operator, in life-threatening peril,” the MTA said in a statement Tuesday. “We are grateful the courageous actions of the operator in moving riders to safety minimized risk, and are cooperating fully with the NYPD investigation.” This article was written by Lauren Cook for WPIX. 2092

Governor Andrew Cuomo announced on Monday the state's formula that will determine which school districts can reopen to students in September. The formula will be implemented between August 1 and August 7, based on COVID-19 data in each region. Schools in regions in Phase Four of their reopening at that time will be able to reopen to students if the region's daily infection rate remains 5% or lower over a 14-day average. After August 1, schools will close if their regional infection rate is greater than 9% over a seven-day average.Once reopening, schools must follow guidelines specific to their districts. The New York State Health Department has released its own guidelines, which will be used by districts to develop plans. The health department's guidelines include masks and PPE whenever students or staff cannot maintain social distancing (six feet of separation). It also includes guidelines on cleaning, screening, tracing, transportation and food service. You can read the guidelines here: Recovering, rebuilding, and renewing the spirit of our schools school reopening guidance from Adam Francis WKBW's Megan Erbacher first reported this story. 1182
