Everything from the newest in electric and hybrid vehicles to luxury SUVs and trucks will be out to see — without the whole "car salesman vibe" as you look around.Organizers say attendees will see a huge emphasis on technology, between new safety equipment and advanced features to make driving safer and more enjoyable. Nearly every manufacturer plans to feature some level of discussion regarding autonomous vehicles at their exhibit.More than 400 new vehicles will be on display for attendees to check out and even test out themselves. Test drives will be offered in front of the convention center and inside, in the case of Camp Jeep. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — Halloween is quickly approaching, which means thousands of San Diegans will choose that perfect pumpkin to display or carve.Across the county, several pumpkin patches will be open throughout October, waiting to match pumpkins to owners. Several patches offer more than pumpkins as well. Over at Bates Nut Farm, guests can enjoy a petting corral, pony rides, live entertainment, and delicious BBQ and kettle corn this month in Valley Center. Oma's Pumpkin Patch in Lakeside features hay rides, games, and a large play area. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — Friends of Anthony Womack, the teenager who died after jumping from Sunset Cliffs Wednesday, spent the morning joining a local car club to wash cars in National City, in exchange for funeral donations."He was just like a happy person," said Sweetwater High School student, Sarah Seineke. "He was always around school laughing. He was really good person to everybody...that's why everyone is so affected by it."When members of Diego Style Car Club heard about Womack's tragic death, they knew they wanted to help.RELATED: Loved ones remember student who died at Sunset CliffsThe crew showed up to the Church of God of Prophecy on Epsilon Street and were set up to begin the washes by 8 a.m. that would go until the afternoon."It's been hard the last couple of days," said Llamas, who's daughter was close friends with Womack and asked for the fundraiser."When your kid hurts, you know we hurt also," he said. "She came to us and she asked us if we could do something for her friend."The community showed up, car after car stopped by the church leaving cash and comforting the teens who have lost someone who meant so much."I hope they remember his vibe as a person," said Seineke. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - For the second time in a month, Mexico is mobilizing its National Guard. According to our reporting partner, Televisa, 15,000 troops will be at the U.S. border Monday morning.Earlier in June, Mexican authorities announced they were sending hundreds of troops to it's southern border to keep migrants from entering from Guatemala. All this in an effort to curb rampant migration."It's exploded without a solution," Foreign Affairs National Security Analyst Ron Bee said. "It's the Mexican response to the threat of tariffs made by President Trump. if they don't do enough to stop Central Americans from entering their country, and traveling across Mexico and entering our country."Televisa tells 10News that 500 troops will patrol from Calexico to Tijuana. There will be a ceremony Sunday in Mexico City."If they [troops] come across illegal immigrants they'll have to apprehend them and take them to a facility to hold onto them until they decide what to do," Bee said, whether that's sending them back home or allowing them to apply for asylum.Mexico already ramped up pressure on migrants, by cutting funding to overflowing migrant shelters, "shelters in Mexico have less access to resources, they are receiving hundreds and hundreds more people than before. They are setting up tent cities," Alex Mensing, Project Coordinator with Pueblos Sin Fronteras, said.He added Mexico has taken other measures to discourage migration, "at this point even private bus companies are being pressured to not allow people onto buses without presenting valid government ID."Bee says this is all a symptom of a bigger problem, saying the U.S. needs to adjust how we handle the large flow of migrants, or we'll repeatedly see this issue. 1749

One fan told 10News they camped out for 20 hours to get into Hall H for the announcement, "every celebrity in Hollywood it seemed like was there tonight," he said.Big names like Angelina Jolie, and Selma Hayek took the stage to introduce a new film, called Eternals, said to have mythological characters who protect the world."The energy was palpable you could feel it," another fan said as the bombshells kept dropping.
