(KGTV) - A SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket will launch from Florida Wednesday afternoon with a planet-searching satellite on board for NASA.The Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite (TESS) is part of a mission to find exoplanets that periodically block part of the light from their host stars, events called transits, NASA said.TESS will survey the nearest and brightest stars for two years to search for transiting exoplanets, according to scientists. NASA’s satellite will look for stars 30 to 100 times brighter than those observed by the Kepler satellite launched in 2009.TESS also will scan a larger area than Kepler, NASA officials said. It will spend about a month at a time focusing on one portion of sky, eventually covering the entire sky. (KGTV) -- As more states across the country issue "stay at home" orders and closing down schools to curb the spread of Coronavirus, Virginia police are warning families to keep a closer eye on their children's social media habits.Virginia police investigators say they have identified two teenagers caught in a social media video purportedly coughing on grocery store customers and produce.The Purcellville Police Department said the teens admitted to their involvement in the video, but investigators determined that the teens did not cough or spit on customers nor produce"The investigation concluded the teenagers were getting close to other patrons and coughing into their own sleeves, while filming it on their phones," police said.Due to the age of the minors involved, no names or video footage was released. San Diego County school districts providing free meals to students amid coronavirus-related closuresPurcellville police determined that there was no criminal intent and no actual customers or produce were spit or coughed on directly. (KGTV and CNN) - Newly released video from a passenger shows the moments before and after strong winds led to the crash of an Aeromexico plane in northern Mexico.Flight 2431 had just left Durango, Mexico for Mexico City on Tuesday when it took a nose dive.Video shows the plane fall before flames erupt outside the window. The plane skidded off the runway at the Guadalupe Victoria International Airport until it stopped about 300 meters away, according to Durango’s governor.RELATED: A plane crashed in Mexico but everyone on board survived99 passengers and four crew members were on board including Ashley Garcia, who recorded the video. Everyone evacuated the plane using its emergency evacuation slides before flames engulfed the aircraft, officials said. Although 49 people were hospitalized, no one died.Anabel Estrada -- a passenger from Joliet, Illinois -- felt like the aircraft had been battling against the heavy rain and wind before it hit the ground twice during the crash."The second impact was a lot stronger. This is when I jumped and hit my head against the ceiling," Estrada said.
