China on Monday urged the United States government to stop its crackdown on Chinese companies and provide a fair, just and nondiscriminatory environment for Chinese firms operating in the country, according to a statement issued by the Ministry of Commerce.

China on Friday said new rules governing insurers' investments will come into force on April 1, and the same will focus on governing the way funds are invested by insurers and on improving risk control.

China put forward the "dual-circulation" development pattern in May to "take the domestic market as the mainstay while letting internal and external markets boost each other".

China will also provide support in Pakistan and Nepal to restoring the livelihoods of the flood-affected people, said the statement.

China must enhance its capability of telling its stories to the world and make its voice louder on the world stage, experts in international communications said during the China's Image and Global Communications High-end Forum in Shanghai on Saturday.
