Uber has announced a new subscription service to help customers avoid price surging.Titled "Ride Pass", the new service is only available in five U.S. cities at the moment.According to the BBC, the service costs .99 a month in Los Angeles and .99 in Austin, Denver, Miami and Orlando. VALLEY CENTER, Calif. (KGTV) — A North County student was arrested Friday after a reported school threat.Administrators at Oak Glen High School in Valley Center learned of a potential threat from a suspended, 15-year-old student at about 8 a.m., San Diego Sheriff's Department said. Deputies did not elaborate on the nature of the threat.The high school and nearby Valley Center High were placed in a lock down as deputies responded. Deputies identified the student and soon located and arrested the suspect.SDSO said a search of the student's home was conducted, but no weapons were located.Both high schools were released from their lock downs just after 9 a.m.The student has been booked into Juvenile Hall, SDSO said. The lengthy list includes a wide range of items, from airplane parts to syringes.The 25% tariff, which would be applied to all products, won't go into effect immediately. And the list isn't final.
