CHULA VISTA, Calif. (KGTV) -- A Hazmat crew was called to a propane leak at a home in Chula Vista Tuesday night. Crews at the scene tell 10News that a food truck parked in the driveway of the home was leaking propane. Initially the plan was to jack the truck so crews could access, but they were unable to do so. They're now planning to safely light off the propane until it burns off. At this time one home has been evacuated, others may be evacuated soon. *This is a developing story. 10News will continue to update as details become available.  595

CHULA VISTA, Calif. (KGTV) -- A former longtime employee of the Sweetwater Union High School District pleaded not guilty Tuesday afternoon to felony charges of embezzlement. Danya Williams, 42, is charged with embezzling more than ,000 over 18 months beginning in June of 2017. Williams worked for the district for 17 years in the accounting department and most recently human resources. According to prosecutors, she was in charge of taking money orders to pay for background checks of job applicants. She's accused of altering the money orders; making them payable to herself. Prosecutors say she deposited 800 money orders into her own personal account. "Some that weren't hired can request them back. When some of them were asked for them back, they discovered they were never deposited into an account," said Deputy District Attorney Kimball Denton. Williams resigned from the district when the allegations surfaced. She's out of jail on a ,000 bond. She could face four years in prison if convicted. She has no criminal record. "It's very disappointing and sad when people who we trust within our school communities do brazen things like this that breach that trust and we're going to be holding her accountable for her actions." "She probably ranks in the top ten of the most nervous I've ever had. She's about to have a breakdown today. She's extremely nervous, and again, she's the nicest person you'll ever meet. I understand the other side as well," said defense attorney Kerry Armstrong. Her preliminary exam is scheduled for April 30th. 1563

CHULA VISTA, Calif. (KGTV) -- Frustration is growing after a second fire broke out at the Teresina Apartments in Chula Vista on Sunday night. Witnesses tell 10News they saw a group of teens playing in the park near the apartments and a few minutes later they noticed the fire. William Maher lives in the apartment complex. He tells 10News he was the one who made the call to the fire department. Maher says the teens were recording the flames and laughing. He says they ran away when he yelled at him. The fire was so close to the apartments that the heat shattered several windows and melted window blinds.Sunday night's fire is the second fire in less than three weeks in that same area. On October 25th, fire crews responded to a fire just feet away. Maher hopes police will find the teens before someone gets hurt. He's also hoping parents look through their teen's phones to see if they can find the videos that were recorded. Anyone with information is asked to call the Chula Vista Police.  1050

Chrissy Teigen opened up about her recent miscarriage in a blog post on Tuesday, describing her emotions in detail and thanking friends, family and fans for their support. In the early hours of Oct. 1, Teigen shared on social media that she had lost her unborn baby due to pregnancy complications. Mothers around the world lauded her post for helping to normalize pregnancy complications — a difficult topic for many women to talk about, despite the fact that the American Pregnancy Association reports that 10% to 25% of known pregnancies end in miscarriage. On Tuesday, Teigen shared more of her experience in a blog post on Medium, titled "Hi."Teigen opened by thanking those who wrote to her following the loss of her child, which she and husband John Legend named Jack."After we first lost Jack, I found myself incredibly worried that I wasn't able to thank everyone for their extreme kindness," Teigen wrote. "Many shared incredible personal experiences, some shared books and poems. I wanted to thank everyone, share our story with each individual person. But I knew I was in no state to. For me, the 'no need to respond' note was such a true relief. I thank you for each and every one of those."She also went into detail about the complications that led to her miscarriage. Teigen said doctors had diagnosed her with a "partial placenta abruption" that led to severe bleeding. She added that she had had "placenta problems" with her two previous pregnancies but had never been diagnosed with an abruption.Teigen also got frank about the side effects of her condition, which included heavy bleeding that required her to wear "adult diapers.""I actually became an adult diaper expert for my own personal entertainment, truly appreciating the brands that went out of their way to not make me feel like an actual (expletive) baby," Teigen wrote. "Some were blush colored, with drawn delicate flowers. I got to the point where I was actually like, "hell yeah, throw me the pink ones!" — something I never thought I'd be excited for. But there we were."Teigen also said that when she was rushed to the hospital, she felt it was important that the moment be documented — and said she had no regrets about sharing those photos on social media. 2249
