Those are very locked down networks, but they can go after the third parties that do business and have connections into those environments, and that's what they did in this scenario.”Officials say this hack could have started as early as last March.Watkins says the type of tech they used is hard to catch, allowing attackers time to patiently collect data under the radar.That means working on detection methods will also be key moving forward. 1641

SAN YSIDRO, Calif. (KGTV) -- San Diego Fire-Rescue is on scene of a brush fire burning in San Ysidro Monday afternoon. According to department spokeswoman Mónica Mu?oz, the fire sparked near State Route 905 west and Caliente Avenue in an area near San Ysidro High School. The fire burned about one and a half acres before the forward rate of spread was stopped. No structures were threatened and no one was injured, according to Mu?oz.Three San Diego Fire-Rescue engines and two federal fire brush engines and a helicopter team responded to the blaze. (AP) — In the latest move to change place names in light of U.S. racial history, leaders of Orange County's Democratic Party are pushing to drop film legend John Wayne's name, statue, and other likenesses from the county's airport because of his racist and bigoted comments. The Los Angeles Times reports that earlier this week, officials passed an emergency resolution condemning Wayne's "racist and bigoted statements" made in a 1971 interview and are calling on the Orange County Board of Supervisors to drop his name, statue, and other likenesses from the international airport. The proposed ballot measure would repeal the controversial voter-approved statewide ban that's been blamed for a decline in diversity in the prestigious university system.
