CBP said in a statement late Tuesday that an agent first noticed the boy had a cough and "glossy eyes" at about 9 a.m. Monday. He was eventually hospitalized twice and died just before midnight, the agency said. CBP earlier said that the boy died just after midnight.CBP said in the statement it needs the help of other government agencies to provide health care. After being captured and detained, all 52 people are now seeking asylum. A local Youtuber who goes by the username, "Mexican Andy" live-streamed the video of the migrants rushing the border. At around 4 PM, Thursday, he witnessed a man, using what looks to be a knife to slice through the fence and razor wires. The moment it was wide enough for an adult to crawl through, the rush began. US Border Patrol agents said they now have 52 people in custody, including 23 men, 12 women, and 17 children, for illegally crossing the border. This includes 27 families, 24 single adults, and one unaccompanied child, hailing from Honduras, El Salvador, and Guatemala. All of them have since filed for asylum. This kind of breach is hardly a rarity for Border Patrol. Last November, just after the installation of Concertina wire on top of the border wall, two women and a child appeared to squeeze through the fence and walk into the United States.Days later, thermal cameras captured a man, attempting to kick the same razor wire at the San Diego border. Later that same month was the largest caravan rush in recent years, which shut down the San Ysidro border crossing, freeways, and surrounding businesses. In a letter sent to 950 patients, University Hospitals Fertility Center blames human error for the loss of 4,000 eggs and embryos, twice the number initially reported.The letter says the Cleveland hospital is “heartbroken” to inform patients it is “unlikely” any of the eggs and embryos are viable.The letter says a remote alarm system on the storage tank containing the eggs and embryos, which was designed to alert a UH employee to temperature fluctuations, was turned off.It is unclear when the remote alarm was turned off, but an alert to an employee as the temperature inside the tank began to rise Saturday night was not sent or received, according to the letter.It is also unclear who turned off the alarm and how long the alarm was turned off.The lab was not staffed March 3, the night of the malfunction. There was also a history of malfunctions involving the storage tank.In the letter, UH said the storage tank in question “needed preventative maintenance.”For weeks prior to the malfunction on March 3, “we experienced difficulty with what is called the liquid nitrogen automatic fill” and were working with the manufacturer to correct the problem.“My clients’ lives and future aspirations were crushed and destroyed.
