BOWIE, Maryland — Some students at Bowie High School in Prince George's County may face charges for a senior prank they pulled at the school last week.About 20 seniors stormed the school's hallways, taking part in what was meant to look like a school shooting.The seniors used fireworks and water guns and were wearing black masks, according to a letter from the school.The school was evacuated.One student was burned by the fireworks and also treated for an asthma attack.The father of that student was shocked to learn what had happened."I don't know what had to go through somebody's mind to pull of a prank like this in this day and age, so close to Parkland and two days later they had a shooting today down in Texas," said Steve Birckhead, father of the injured student. "These kids just weren't thinking."School officials say the students who participated in the prank will be held accountable to the fullest extent of the law. 952

BUFFALO, N.Y. — The People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) has criticized grocery store chain Wegmans and several other chains for allegedly selling coconut milk made from fruit harvested by abused monkeys.According to PETA, monkeys are "forced to climb trees to pick coconuts" for coconut milk made by the brand Chaokoh. BUENOS AIRES - Argentinian police officers were fired after they claimed that mice ate more than half a ton of marijuana that was not accounted for in the police warehouse.After an inspection, an officer noticed 540kg of cannabis was missing the confiscation warehouse just outside of Buenos Aires.During a span of two years of storage, police collected 6,000 kg of marijuana. At the time, Javier Specia was the police commissioner.According to The Guardian, Specia stepped down in April 2017 and was replaced with Commissioner Emilio Portero. The state has reemerged as one of the nation's hot spots for the coronavirus only months after signs pointed to a successful outbreak response.
