(AP) — Authorities say divers have found the body of the last missing victim in a fatal boat fire that killed 34 people off the Southern California coast.The victim is one of 34 who died at sea last week near Santa Cruz Island. Five of the Conception's six crew members survived after multiple attempts to save the others who were trapped below deck.Authorities have said the victims, 21 women and 13 men from 16 to 62 years old, appear to have died from smoke inhalation. One of the victims was San Diegan Nicole Quitasol, a waitress at Nickey Rotten's in Coronado.The Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Office also said Wednesday on Twitter that authorities are still doing DNA testing to confirm the identities of seven of the victims. It's an experimental medicine that President Donald Trump was given when he was sickened last month. The Food and Drug Administration on Saturday authorized use of the Regeneron Pharmaceuticals Inc. drug for people with mild-to-moderate symptoms. Tests of the drug are continuing, but early results suggest it may prevent hospitalization and emergency room visits. Use is allowed for adults and children 12 and over who are at high risk of severe illness from COVID-19 because of age or certain other medical conditions. 652

According to a new survey from Boy Scouts of America, bullying took the top spot as the number one concern for Generation Z. “Verbal bullying and cyberbullying are our big problems,” said 14-year-old Katrina Gusman. Gusman has been focusing her time on improving her community and the lives of her peers. “We volunteered for a few hours; it was a really fun experience,” said Gusman. A recent survey by Boy Scouts of America shows 32 percent of kids from 6 to 17 years old believe bullying is the biggest issue in our country. 30 percent of kids say they want to combat bullying globally. In California, the homeless crisis is also taking a toll on Generation Z. According to the survey, 29 percent of kids in California believe homelessness is the biggest issue in our state. “There are people who might be sleeping in other people's houses or with their grandparents because their parents can't find jobs,” said Gusman. It may be due to the prevalent homelessness in California. The White House Council of Economic Advisers found 47 percent of all unsheltered homeless people nationwide live in California. Gusman believes giving back is the first step.
