SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - 10News got an exclusive interview with the young San Diego man who says a local ICE agent pointed a gun at his head before being arrested, in part, for driving under the influence.“I’m 20 years-old and for him to pull a gun on me just for test-riding my motorcycle on the street is definitely not okay,” says Jonathan Levenson.A spokesperson for Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) confirms ICE Agent Ed Zuchelli is on administrative leave while officers investigate a criminal matter.San Diego police confirm the incident happened on February 16th on Blue Lake Drive in the community around Lake Murray.Levenson says he was test-riding his dirt bike on his street when he saw the agent walk into the middle of the street to block him.“He had it pointed at me at a ‘shooter’s position’. That’s when I knew it was definitely a gun,” he tells us of the agent, who is his neighbor. “When he first came up to me I could smell some beer on his breath but nothing too strong,” he adds.Levenson says he rode around the agent, but the agent got into his vehicle and followed. “He turned on his lights and sirens and started yelling at me through his microphone. [He was] telling me he was a federal agent and not to mess with him,” says Levenson.Levenson adds that the agent showed him his federal ID badge.SDPD confirms Zuchelli was in a government-issued vehicle at the time of arrest.Police say he was arrested for alleged DUI, showing a weapon and making threats. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- Two families will forever be connected after an organ donation saves the life of a woman struggling with heart disease for nearly a decade. Susan Amador's son, David Rivera died, at the age of 30, in 2017 of a brain bleed, caused by a rare clotting disorder. The 30-year-old left behind a 4-year-old and his fiancee. Rivera was a registered organ donor and his organs helped save the lives of five people. His heart was donated to a woman named Sandra, of Chula Vista. On Monday, Rivera's family met the woman who now carries their loved ones' heart. The meeting was made possible through Lifesharing Donate Life, an organization that coordinates organ and tissue donation in San Diego and Imperial Counties. Rivera's mom hopes her story will encourage more people to sign up to be organ donors. 824

SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- UC San Diego has some of the best graduate programs and schools in the U.S., according to a new report by U.S. News and World Report. Engineering, medicine and management all took top spots on the list. According to the report, UC San Diego’s Jacobs School of Engineering was ranked 11th overall in the U.S. and 6th in the nation among public engineering schools. The school’s bioengineering program placed 5th in the nation. Khosla. “We offer students an education that enriches and inspires them. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- Two San Diego police officers answered an unusual call to duty when an emergency struck, leaving two young children alone.SDPD officers Daniel Clark and Adrianni Vital have been a part of the department for about a year.Last Friday night, police received a call about a father in San Ysidro having a medical emergency, but he did not have any family or others to watch his two young daughters.After he was taken to the hospital, Clark and Vital stayed behind to watch the man’s 2-year-old and 4-year-old daughters.“Just to put a smile on their face, it meant a lot, it was a great interaction; it just made my day,” said Vital. “We just want to show people that we are human, too, and we do want to give back, and sometimes it comes in different shapes and sizes in how we do it."The officers did everything they could to keep the girls entertained so they would not worry about their dad.Using his own experience as a father, Clark learned more about the children’s likes and dislikes, and the officers eventually found out the girls loved the song “Baby Shark.”ABC 10News learned the girls’ father is doing OK and the family was reunited after about two hours. 1190
