A teacher at Dickson Intermediate School in Tennessee launched an emergency lunch money fund for students after an interaction with one child inspired her to help children in need."As I was walking through the cafeteria one day, I saw a child with no tray and no drink just stopped to build those relationships as teacher do, and just asked are you not eating? "His comment was mom said we’re out of money so I can’t eat today."Potter told the student to grab lunch, on her.But she said she realized that was a short term solution."I thought if I could just donate just a few dollars to set up an account so the next time, the next child will feel safe enough to go through the line without worrying about pride and be fed," Potter said.So Potter put out a post on Facebook, detailing her interaction with the student and a plan to help others."I share this message to say I would like to set up a special lunch account called 1 in 4," the post read. "This account would be for those students, just a handful and only as needed, we see going without food. A man who said he was "super hungover" caused a crash that killed a woman and severely injured a man in Arizona, according to officials. Scottsdale police report that on February 15 at 9:45 a.m., they responded to a two-vehicle crash near Hayden and McKellips roads.Police say 33-year-old Frederick Kipper MacArthur was driving his 2005 Infiniti?when he crossed the center line and struck another car with two people inside, head-on.?The passenger, Jessica Bailey, was killed in the collision and the driver continues to suffer from multiple injuries, including two broken legs, a femoral artery tear and partially amputated arm. MacArthur also went to the hospital with neck and rib fractures. Police say MacArthur admitted to drinking the night before and into the morning, saying he "got really drunk." A Middle Tennessee woman visiting Gatlinburg with her family got quite a surprise when she found a bear outside their hotel.  Kim Vastola, of Watertown was in Gatlinburg for her son’s baseball tournament and was staying on the first floor of a Quality Inn.Vastola was startled when she heard people yelling about a bear. She went outside and captured video of the bear on a tree behind the hotel before he made his way around the building.  Vastola said the person at the front desk told her the "town bear" – named Robert – was lurking around but there was no need to be alarmed.Apparently, “Robert” lives in the area and roams when he comes out of hibernation.
