Boseman says once people noticed cars were being towed, people began to leave.When approached by reporters, one of the homeowners declined to comment.Later in the day, one person claiming to be a homeowner posted a Facebook message saying he contacted police beforehand, and there were no violations. The homeowner ended the statement with “nothing illegal was done or the police would have stopped it.”MNPD said officers wrote citations for those parked illegally in neighboring driveways, but they did not write any citations related to the coronavirus mask mandate.Metro Nashville Public Health says it is investigating but won’t say what rules may have been broken.Not that any of the neighbors we talked to were too concerned. The group dropped the word "Antebellum" from their name because of its ties to slavery. But blues singer Anita White, who has been releasing and performing music under that name for years, complained publicly that the band never reached out to her. Negotiations between the parties broke down. The lawsuit seeks the court to declare that the band's use of the trademark "Lady A" does not infringe on White's alleged trademark rights of the same name. (WTVF) — A 61-year-old man was arrested for violating a public health order that requires people to wear face masks in Nashville.According to his arrest affidavit, Joseph Bryant was issued a citation for not wearing a mask around 6:40 p.m. Wednesday. About an hour later, the police report states an officer saw Bryant again in the same area. Again, he wasn't wearing a mask.According to the arrest report, the officer said he chose to arrest Bryant because "of the obvious likelihood the offense would continue."Bryant was booked into the Davidson County Jail on 0 bond.As more and more states and municipalities adopt mask mandates, many have questioned how they will be enforced. NATIONAL CITY, Calif. (KGTV) -- Police in National City have arrested two suspects following a deadly 2015 shooting. According to the National City Police Department, Roger Hernandez, 30, and Luis Karam-Solis, 29, were arrested for the murder of Juan Munoz. The shooting happened in October of 2015. According to police, 18-year-old Munoz and his 17-year-old passenger drove to the 1600 block of Prospect Street after being followed by two men in a silver Nissan Altima. After the victims stopped, a Hispanic man approached their vehicle and fired several rounds. Munoz died on his way to the hospital and the 17-year-old passenger was shot in his thigh.
