A Phoenix Suns fan is facing charges after cursing at team owner Robert Sarver during a game and later confronting an officer as he was removed from the arena.Police say Jeffrey Camill Whitley was seated near Sarver inside Talking Stick Resort Arena during the Phoenix Suns-New Orleans Pelicans game on April 5.After Sarver had sat down in his personal seats, the 18-year-old and his friends began yelling obscenities, and also reportedly called Sarver "the worst owner in the league."Court records show the arena security asked Whitley to stop, but he continued for several more minutes before having to be removed from the arena.While being escorted out of the building by Phoenix police, Whitely allegedly chest-bumped an officer, trying to push him backward.He has been charged with aggravated assault and criminal trespassing. 843

Amid the COVID-19 outbreak, many schools are closing. Teachers across the country are getting creative, even taking their classrooms remote. Many schools across the country have canceled classes, but not all. Some have asked students to take their learning into their homes. One Colorado charter school is making it all happen and finding some benefits in the process. Math teacher Marilyn Hartzell has turned her kitchen into an at-home classroom.“Our group of schools decided that we would try to teach online,” Hartzell said.The school sent students home with Chrome Books in order to continue their education online.Aside from the location, the school day looks very much the same. A New Jersey man was charged on three criminal counts Tuesday after being accused of coughing on a grocery store clerk and claiming he has coronavirus, the New Jersey Attorney General announced. George Falcone was charged on three counts: Terroristic threats, obstructing administration of law enfocement, and harassment. The most serious charge, terroristic threats, carries a punishment of up to five years, and a ,000 fine. The New Jersey Attorney General said that the incident happened Sunday evening at the Wegmans in Manalapan, New Jersey. A now-deceased University of Michigan doctor is being investigated for complaints of sexual abuse.The university is asking any former patients of Robert E. Anderson who believe they were subjected to sexual misconduct during a medical exam to contact the U-M Compliance Hotline.Anderson was a former director of University Health Service and a former athletic team physician who worked at the university from 1968 until his retirement in 2003. He died in 2008.An investigation began in July 2018 when a former student athlete wrote to Athletic Director Warde Manual to detail abuse during medical exams by Anderson in the early 1970s, the university says.During the investigation, the university says it identified dozens of people who described incidents of sexual misconduct by Anderson. Now, the university is asking anyone with additional information to come forward.“The allegations that were reported are disturbing and very serious,” said President Mark Schlissel in a news release. “We promptly began a police investigation and cooperated fully with the prosecutor’s office.The former patients describe sexual misconduct and unnecessary medical exams, the university says.
