MINNEAPOLIS — Police say a man captured on surveillance video breaking windows at a south Minneapolis auto parts store in the days after George Floyd’s death is a Hell’s Angels member who was bent on stirring up social unrest.The man, seen in all black and carrying an umbrella, was dubbed “Umbrella Man” by many on social media.The video showed the man breaking windows at an Auto Zone near where Floyd died. Police say up until that point, the protests in the area had been peaceful.Soon after the windows were broken, the Auto Zone was set on fire — the first of several buildings in the area that were burned during riots. (KGTV) - The day after Christmas, a Miramar cidery owner woke up to learn a "grinch" broke in, stole items, and broke his handmade furniture.Owner of Serpentine Cider Sean Harris got the text while he was visiting his parents, out of town, for the holidays.He looked back at his security camera footage and around 10:45 p.m. Christmas night, a man in a backward baseball cap, black mask, and leather jacket moved furniture to get to a heat lamp and rolled it away.RELATED: SDPD investigating multiple brewery break-ins"Finally we're ready to close the doors on 2020 and hope for 2021 that is at least slightly better and then before the chapter closes we're able to throw this terrible, mutated, disgusting cherry on top," he said.The attack on his business cutting deeper during a year it's been hard to just survive, beaten down by constantly changing restrictions that have closed down his business multiple times.Now he has to replace stolen heat lamps and a canopy, "they cut our locks that chain everything together, they broke some of the furniture which is homemade by my father and I. They just stomped the furniture and broke it."That furniture holding deep meaning and a bond Harris and his father built during months of sweat and laughter, poured into the hand made pieces."The problem is is that he's in his 70s now and he's not going to be able to come down during COVID and build more of the stuff with me," he said. Nashville will be home to Amazon’s new executive operations center -- bringing 5,000 jobs to the area and making it the largest jobs announcement in Tennessee's history.  Amazon made the announcement Tuesday morning, saying the location would be its new Operations Center of Excellence and be the company's headquarters for its logistics group. Amazon has chosen New York City and Northern Virginia to split duty as its second headquarters.  Nashville will serve as the company’s Retail Operations division, which will be located in downtown just north of The Gulch in the Nashville Yards development -- a billion dollar project between Church Street and West End. The one million square foot office space will house the tech and management functions of the Retail Operations division, including customer fulfillment, customer service, transportation, and supply chain, amongst others.“Amazon has spent the past year searching the nation for the best possible locations to expand and it chose Tennessee because of our business-friendly policies, low taxes and skilled workforce," Governor Bill Haslam said in a statement. The company is making an estimated 3 million capital investment over seven years and creating 5,000 net new full-time jobs with an average pay of .32 an hour, which is more than 0,000 a year.Currently, Amazon employs approximately 2,500 people in the Nashville region across five fulfillment and sortation centers. NATIONAL CITY, Calif. (KGTV) -- An investigation is underway to find the driver in a hit-and-run crash that critically injured a skateboarder.National City police say the man was skateboarding with friends on Palm avenue around 12:30 a.m. when a vehicle traveling northbound hit him.The vehicle fled the scene, leaving the victim on the street when officers arrived. Paramedics rushed him to UC San Diego Medical Center with serious head injury, according to police.Witnesses tell police the driver was a woman. NATIONAL CITY (CNS) - Authorities Tuesday released the name of a man being sought on suspicion of fleeing the scene of a four-vehicle crash that killed another driver on Interstate 5 in National City last weekend.The crash on northbound I-5, south of Mile of Cars Way, happened around 4:50 a.m. Saturday, California Highway Patrol Officer Jake Sanchez said.A 2017 Toyota Tacoma pickup was traveling at high speed when the driver veered into the center median to pass a slower vehicle and struck a parked, unoccupied 1996 Nissan 200 coupe, Sanchez said.RELATED: Fatal National City crash shuts down northbound Interstate 5The pickup overturned after hitting the Nissan, which was pushed into the side of a passing vehicle, the officer said. The truck and the Nissan came to a stop blocking several traffic lanes.A 2003 Honda CRV then struck the Toyota, according to the CHP.
