BEIJING, June 20 (Xinhua) -- Chinese President Xi Jinping, Premier Li Keqiang and leaders from India and Myanmar will attend commemorative activities for the 60th anniversary of the Five Principles of Peaceful Coexistence, a Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman announced Friday.
Yang made the statement when he met with Chairwoman of the Federation Council of Russian Federation Valentina Matviyenko Tuesday in Moscow, Russia. He also said the cooperation between noncontiguous regions of the two countries should be strengthened for a win-win deal.
Regarding cultural and people-to-people exchanges, Li said that during his visit the two sides will sign an agreement on the establishment of cultural centers in each other's country to facilitate these exchanges.
The CICA summit, which will give a vigorous boost to the mutual trust and coordination among Asian countries, will effectively address security threats and challenges, the UN chief said.
Zhang said that New Taipei City had already conducted close cooperation with mainland cities in many fields, including trade, agriculture, education, healthcare and environmental protection, with increasing grass-roots exchanges and communication among young people from both sides.
