Biden is currently up 9.43%."It's pretty clear many polls were off, so I'd say broadly speaking this is a challenge with estimating what the true electorate is going to be for pollsters," said Dr. Rebecca Bromley-Trujillo, Research Director at the Wason Center.Part of the challenge is the uniqueness of President Trump. "We have our likely voter models. We have our expectation about who is going to turn out to vote," Bromley-Trujillo said. "Certainly, President Trump has been a unique candidate who has brought out different types of people at higher numbers than is typical."So, what needs to be fixed? Dr. Eric Claville, the Director of the Center for African American Public Policy at Norfolk State University, says more nuance is needed. He feels pollsters should concentrate on issues to help forecast why people vote a certain way."I think the polls have to ask themselves: What is it that really drives individuals to vote one way or another?" That's according to a law enforcement official who spoke to The Associated Press Thursday on condition of anonymity. The New York Times reported that a similar subpoena was sent to President Donald Trump’s company by the Manhattan district attorney, who is conducting a parallel probe. The records requests followed recent reporting in The Times, based partly on two decades’ worth of Trump’s tax filings, that the president had reduced his company’s income tax liability over several years by deducting million in consulting fees as a business expense.Records strongly suggested, The Times reported, that 7,622 of those fees had been paid to Ivanka Trump, the president’s daughter, through a company she owned at a time when she was also a Trump Organization executive.If true, that wouldn’t necessarily pose a problem for Ivanka Trump herself, as long as she paid income tax on the consulting payments, which she reported publicly.It could, however, raise questions about whether the Trump Organization’s related tax deductions were allowable. NOBLESVILLE, Ind. -- Jason Seaman, the hero teacher who stopped a school shooter at Noblesville West Middle School Friday, was honored at a baseball game Monday morning.The game was an Indiana Sectional Championship baseball game between Noblesville High School and Hamilton Southeastern High School. A moment of silence was held before Seaman arrived, then students began chanting Seaman's name, "Mis-ter Sea-man!"In an especially powerful moment, Seaman walked to some of his students who wanted to see him, with a fence separating them.
