Colorado Parks and Wildlife said that a yearling bear that was burned during a wildfire last month is recovering well and should be released in coming weeks.The bear was found in the midst of the East Canyon Fire, which burned thousands of acres in southwest Colorado last month, and rescued by CPW officers, who took it to the Frisco Creek rehab facility for treatment on its singed paws and other injuries.The bear is a yearling born during the winter in 2019, CPW said. CPW Officer Steve McClung said at the time the bear likely got caught in the wildfire and had to run across hot spots. Costco has updated its COVID-19 face mask policy.The wholesale club said beginning Monday, everyone, excluding children under the age of 2, must wear a face mask or face shield, even those with medical conditions."Members and guests must wear a face mask that covers their mouth and nose at all times. Individuals who are unable to wear a face mask due to a medical condition must wear a face shield. Children under the age of 2 are exempt. CINCINNATI, Ohio - Cincinnati Reds and Fox Sports Ohio broadcaster Thom Brennaman tells WCPO he has resigned from his position more than one month after he was suspended for using a homophobic slur on air.“My family and I have decided that I am going to step away from my role as the television voice of the Cincinnati Reds,” Brennaman wrote to WCPO. “I would like to thank the Reds, Reds fans, and the LGBTQ community for the incredible support and grace they have shown my family and me.“Brennaman has been suspended from the Cincinnati Reds since the Aug. 19 incident. He had been with the Reds since 2006.“I have been in this profession that I love for 33 years,” he wrote. “It is my hope and intention to return.
