I was at Target. Seems to be no end in site for the register outage or the forming lines. I abandoned cart and left... can't waste my whole day there. #targetdown #targetoutage pic.twitter.com/IolXjTIjOz— Jeff of The Game Capital & The Poke Capital (@ThePokeCapital) June 15, 2019 296
Hair Club for Men founder Sy Sperling has died in Florida. Sperling became famous in the 1980s for his ubiquitous commercials featuring before and after photos of his clients, ending with him proclaiming “I'm not only the Hair Club president but I'm also a client" as he showed a photo of his previously bald self. Sperling began his business in New York City before taking it national. His commercials were even spoofed on the “Tonight” show and on “Saturday Night Live.” He sold the business for million in 2000. Sperling was 78 when he died Wednesday in Boca Raton.Photo from a 1986 Hair Club for Men 620

GILBERT, Ariz. — In a bizarre two-day span, residents of an Arizona home say their concern is not just about what someone took from the house, but what they left behind. Police are now trying to identify a person caught on the home security camera Friday morning, who officers say may have been involved in a burglary at the Gilbert, Arizona, home the day prior. "The creepiness of it all is the fact of what he did, is kinda weird, it's mentally disturbing," said Max Ganley, who lives at the home. On Thursday morning, Ganley and his roommates awoke to the ring of their doorbell around 5 a.m. While no one was at the door, Ganley says someone snuck into their house through an unlocked back door and left a note. He provided KNXV with a picture of the note, which reads in part, "Please lock your doors. I only stole a knife and a flask. Stay safe. Could've killed you. Love you." 895
GULF BREEZE, Fla. – A Florida man accidentally shot and killed his son-in-law who jumped out of bushes to surprise him on Tuesday.Santa Rosa County Sheriff Bob Johnson says the “horrible accident” happened outside the home of the father-in-law, 61-year-old Richard Dennis. Before the deadly shooting, Johnson says another relative banged on the front door of the Gulf Breeze home at about 9:30 p.m., startling the father-in-law, who then ran the family member off. At about 11 p.m. that night, the son-in-law, 37-year-old Christopher Bergan, arrived to an area airport from Norway and went directly to Dennis’ house to surprise him for his birthday. “At 11:30, Mr. Dennis hears the same type of banging on the back door that he heard on the front door earlier, so he turns on the back-porch light, he steps out and Mr. Bergan jumps out of the shadows, scaring Mr. Dennis,” said Johnson. “Mr. Dennis gets off one round, striking Mr. Bergan, killing him instantly.”Johnson says an investigation revealed that the incident “was totally accidental” and that no charges are warranted in the case. “Anybody who is religious out there, you need to pray for this family because I can’t imagine what they’re going through. It’s horrible,” said Johnson.Watch Johnson's full press conference below: 1299
Four siblings, ages 84, 88, 93, and 102, met for the first time on Sunday in Boynton Beach, Florida. After a lifetime of not knowing each other existed, the siblings connected thanks to DNA testing done through Ancestry.com.It turns out that the four of them have the same father. That man divorced his first wife, changed his last name and started a new life with a new family - never revealing the fact that the other family existed. But generations later, family members did an ancestry DNA test and discovered each other.A couple of them happen to live just ten minutes away from each other, go to the same synagogue, and even had the same barber. 661
