It can detect if something is behind you while you're backing up and can automatically brake if you can't or wont stop.Together, this technology dream team is reducing back up crashes reported to police by 78 percent, according to a new study from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety.Most rear crashes don't result in serious injuries, but you never know who or what might be behind you. When Nolan Davis called his community to march for Black Lives Matter, hundreds turned up for the cause. On Saturday, he led demonstrators from a park in his hometown of Kirkwood, Missouri to the town's city center, leading chants along the way.But Nolan's protest looked a bit different than others that have taken place across the country in recent weeks — because almost all the participants were children.Nolan, 8, helped organize the protest along with his mother, Kristin Davis. According to CNN, he was inspired to lead his own protest after the two attended a few other rallies in the St. Louis area.Nolan and his mother designed a flyer to get the word out about the protest and shared it on Facebook. Nolan told CNN that he believed that about 50 people would show up to his event. But when he arrived at the park on Saturday morning, there were about 700 people ready to support his movement.According to CNN, Kristin Davis, who is white, adopted Nolan and his 5-year-old sister, Caroline, who are both Black. Their mother says that while she could never understand what her children go through, she's tried to have regular conversations about racism with them to keep them safe."We're preparing them for when they're older and taller and bigger. Wisconsin and Pennsylvania, two of the most important states in this year’s presidential election, are still waiting on a large number of ballots, and voters are running out of time to return them to election officials.As of Friday morning, election officials in Wisconsin were still awaiting 200,000 mail-in ballots, which must be received by Tuesday evening in order to be counted in this year’s presidential election.By comparison, the presidential race in election was decided by 23,000 votes in 2016.Earlier this week, the Supreme Court denied Democrats who asked for ballots that are postmarked on time but not received by Election Night to be counted. Election officials in Wisconsin say that mail delivery could take up to one week, so for those who have yet to return a ballot, they should do so at a county clerk’s office.“The absentee by mail deadlines in law don’t correspond with the amount of time it may take to receive and return your ballot by mail,” said Meagan Wolfe, administrator for the Wisconsin Elections Commission. “That is why the Wisconsin Elections Commission since the start of the pandemic earlier this year has been urging voters who wish to vote absentee by mail to request them as soon as possible.”In Pennsylvania, the state has mailed out 3 million ballots to voters, said Secretary of State Kathy Boockvar. Of the 3 million, some 27% were yet to be returned. Boockvar is recommending voters in Pennsylvania utilize drop boxes throughout the state in order to have their vote tabulated.The Pennsylvania Supreme Court extended the deadline for the state to receive ballots to November 6. "The overwhelming majority of counties are already planning to start pre-canvassing mail ballots the moment they can. WIMAUMA, Fla. — A Florida deputy surprised a mother with new car seats instead of issuing her a ticket.Hillsborough County Deputy Jacky Nguyen was running traffic enforcement when he pulled over a mother for a minor traffic violation."As I approached the car, I saw two children in the backseat.
