They also issued 150 million warnings for content that was flagged as misleading by independent fact-checkers.Campbell says both platforms are a lot more reliable now than they were in 2016, but could still have done more. He believes it's because they didn't want to face criticism over censorship."From a pragmatic perspective, they probably don't want to get involved in the challenges of trying to go through and censor or decide what kind of stuff they want to have on the site," says Campbell.Even with all the changes, he says users still need to scroll with skepticism and filter the content they chose to engage with."I think it's very important that we're all vigilant," he says. As cases continue to soar through the country many hospitals are being pushed to their limits.Nurses at Paradise Valley Hospital have seen some of the worst cases of COVID-19. In a new series of PSA videos, frontline workers like Rochielle Jocson are urging everyone to keep fighting.Jocson spends the night shift in the Emergency Room and Intensive Care Unit treating patients who are struggling to survive.“I get scared honestly,” said Jocson. “I don’t want to bring it home to my family.”For the past eight months, she’s suppressed exhaustion and conquered fear.“Sometimes it’s just not within your hands and you cry it out,” said Jocson. “Let it all out, take a deep breath and do it another day.”But the situation is only getting worse.In a press conference Thursday, Supervisor Nathan Fletcher says the number of COVID-related hospitalizations have doubled in the county over the last two weeks. County hospital beds are now inching towards 80% capacity.Jocson says they’re fully staffed and have enough supplies at Paradise Valley for now, but she knows the virus is unpredictable.“Resources are limited. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- Authorities are investigating a fire that destroyed a car parked on the side of the freeway in Logan Heights early Monday morning.According to the California Highway Patrol, The incident happened at about 3 a.m. on the southbound lanes of Interstate 15 at Oceanview Blvd.When fire crews arrived, the car was fully engulfed. Firefighters were able to put the fire out quickly.When the smoke cleared, deputies found a rag in the gas tank and says it appeared the car had been set on fire intentionally.No injuries were reported.Arson investigators are looking into the cause of the fire. 613
