(KGTV) — A Poway woman is taking legal action against the city after she says she fell ill from drinking contaminated water.The city on Nov. 30 issued a precautionary boil advisory after residents reported brownish water coming from their faucets. Poway officials reported that a storm drain backed up into a clear well, and said they issued the boil advisory in an abundance of caution. The advisory lasted about a week and was lifted Dec. 6. "Personally I felt ill after drinking the water, and my son, I had to take him to urgent care" Serino said. "So just in my own family, because we are Poway residents, I have two small children, it's affecting us as well and other people that we work with." President Donald Trump predicted on Friday that the US would have enough coronavirus vaccines for anyone who wanted one to have one by April 2021.Trump’s timeline is a bit sped up compared to timeframes offered by several government experts, including CDC Director Robert Redfield and Dr. Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases. Fauci and Redfield have suggested the a potential coronavirus vaccine would be widely available by the middle of 2021.Trump said that the US would begin distributing vaccines within 24 hours of FDA approval of a vaccine, which he has suggested could happen as soon as the end of October.“We will have manufactured at least 100 million vaccine doses before the end of the year,” Trump said. “And likely much more than that. Hundreds of millions of doses will be available every month and we expect to have enough vaccines for every American by April. Again, I will say even at that later stage, delivery will go as fast as it comes, they can deliver.”Dr. Scott Atlas, a neurosurgeon who recently joined the White House coronavirus task force, agreed with Trump’s timeline. "If you give Remdesivir early in the course before patients are really sick, you can prevent them from progressing on to a higher level of illness.”Doctors have recently been using the anti-viral drug on COVID-19 patients, but not the antibody cocktail produced by Regeneron Pharmaceuticals the president is also taking, because it hasn’t been FDA-approved.“Basically what your body does when it sees a virus it produces an antibody, so this is taking an antibody that was produced and cloning it so that produced in higher levels and giving it directly to you,” said Dr. Narasimhan. "The anti-viral cocktail is new, started developing in June, is not FDA-approved but they got it through a compassionate use for the president.
