Photographer Matthew Dippel captured a once-in-a-lifetime photo earlier this month at Yosemite National Park, capturing the moment of what appears to be a marriage proposal. Dippel's photo shows the proposal taking place on a cliff, with the sun shining in the background. Now Dippel is hoping to find the couple in the photo. "Alright internet I need your help," Dippel said. "Help me find these two. This was taken at Taft Point, in Yosemite National Park on October 6th, 2018. I took this photo and would love for them to find it.Since posting the photo on Facebook last week, Dippel has had a few false leads. Paleontologists have discovered a new species of dinosaur in Asia.The Royal Belgian Institute of Natural Sciences says two “perfectly preserved” fossils were found in the Lujiatun Beds in the Liaoning Province of northeastern China.The intact fossils suggest that the burrowing dinosaurs were trapped by a volcanic eruption while resting at the bottom of their burrows, according to the institute. Some paleontologists believe the dinosaurs were victims of a gigantic volcanic eruption."These animals were quickly covered by fine sediment while they were still alive or just after their death," said paleontologist Pascal GodefroitThe institute says the Lujiatun Beds would have been a kind of Cretaceous “Pompeii.”Fittingly, the new species has been named Changmiania liaoningensis, with Changmian meaning “eternal sleep” in Chinese.Paleontologists estimate these newly discovered dinosaurs roamed the earth about 125 million years ago.The institute says they were small, herbivorous, bipedal dinosaurs, about 1.2 meters long. With very powerful hind legs and long, stiff tail, paleontologists believe they were particularly fast runners.“However, certain characteristics of the skeleton suggest that Changmiania could dig burrows, much like rabbits do today,” said Godefroit. “Its neck and forearms are very short but robust, its shoulder blades are characteristic of burrowing vertebrates and the top of its snout is shaped like a shovel. So, we believe that both Changmiania specimens were trapped by the volcanic eruption when they were resting at the bottom of their burrows 125 million years ago.” 1612

(KGTV) — One of the women killed last weekend in a double homicide at an Otay Mesa home has been identified as an educator of foster parents for more than two decades.Deb Stolz, 65, worked for Grossmont-Cuyamaca Community College District training foster parents for more than 20 years with the district's Foster, Adoptive & Kinship Care Education Program, according to the college district.She was one of the two women killed outside of an Otay Mesa home on Sunday. Her daughter, 37-year-old Elizabeth Stolz, was also shot and killed."Most likely, you wouldn’t have seen Deb on the Grossmont College campus because she spent her time training resource parents in the community. Deb played an integral role in the program through her training and support to countless resource parents for foster youth in San Diego County," a statement from the district read. "Barbara Wojtach, Program Manager for the program, described Deb as the 'Mother Teresa of foster care.' She was more than just a trainer for resource parents – she was a mentor, teacher and supporter for resource parents who were struggling with the challenges of foster care."The district says Stolz was a single parent of eight children, four of them through adoption."Grossmont College’s program for foster care education is responsible for training all the resource parents in San Diego County and is the largest of its kind in the state. Deb was an important part of that program and she will be deeply missed," Stolz said.Police say 31-year-old Justice Love Peace, also known as Jeremiah Alfred Horton, allegedly shot and killed Stolz and her daughter during a custody dispute at a home in the 4300 block of Ebersole Drive sometime around 8:30 a.m. on Sunday. He was reportedly there to pick up his 6-month-old son.Peace then took his son from the home. The boy was later found safe with Peace's wife at her Rolando-area home. Police in Omaha, Nebraska are looking for a suspect vehicle in connection with a shooting at the Irvington Walmart just before 5 p.m. Wednesday that left a 21-year-old woman dead.Kayviaun T. Nelson died after a shooting in the parking lot of the Walmart near 99th Street and Military Avenue, just off Interstate 680, with a child reportedly in the vehicle. OPD are looking for a 2001 bronze Chevy Malibu with license plate VVT-545.Police closed down the Irvington Walmart for hours Wednesday evening while conducting their investigation around the store.Police said they believe some type of disturbance occurred at a different location and the suspect in the shooting followed her to Walmart.Officers later worked with store management to clear all customers from the Walmart location just off Interstate 680 North and prevent anyone else from entering the location. OPD said they expected the store to be closed for a few hours while they review surveillance video. An OPD forensics unit arrived at the scene just after 7:30 p.m. Wednesday.  1116
