SAN DIEGO (KGTV, CNS) - San Diego police were searching today for men believed to have stolen cell phones and a set of keys from three San Diego State students near campus, a university official said.The robbery happened Friday shortly before 12:30 a.m. in the 5600 block of Mary Lane Drive and Dorothy Drive.Police reported three phones and a set of keys were taken from three SDSU students. One of the students was taken to a hospital for further medical treatment. SAN DIEGO, Calif. (KGTV) – A prominent harbor cruise company is continuing to operate despite being cited for violating a County health order. Tuesday afternoon, 10News took video of Flagship Cruises & Events taking passengers aboard for bay tours even after the company was cited by San Diego Harbor Police over the holiday weekend for violating the County's health order 14C which bans recreational boating unless all the passengers are from the same household. Tuesday, a company spokesperson sent the following statement to 10News.“We are part of the Passenger Vessel Association, not recreational boating. They are classifying us under a charter business which is still banned. We DO have a charter business but are not operating any charters at this time. Only public tours and maintaining all safety guidelines set by the city & CDC. We didn’t receive a cease & desist, and will continue to operate our harbor tours & patriot jet boat this week. We open up our dining cruises starting this Friday with Hops on the Harbor – pairing with local brewery, Pizza Port.”Monday night, the company told 10News it's part 14E of the County health order, not 14C. That section states in part, "other public or private outdoor recreational facilities (other than community pools per State order), including recreational equipment (such as bicycle, boat, kayak, equestrian and surfboard) rentals may be open for limited use."During Tuesday’s County press conference, Supervisor Nathan Fletcher told 10News, “The rental items that they're alluding [are for] individual use type things like a bicycle or a kayak or a surfboard and so they are not covered under the current public health order,” and added, “If they continue to operate, they are going to continue to be cited.”Harbor Police say the citation comes with a fine of up to ,000 and up to a year in jail. Parking lots are next on the list to reopen.Starting Monday, June 8, park and water use are open at East and West Mission Bay Parks with no restrictions. Mission Bay parking lots are open. Fiesta Island is open to pedestrians, dogs and cyclists as of June 8 but will not open for cars until July 6.Starting Tuesday, June 9, all San Diego piers and boardwalks are open. More than 200 floats were on display at this year's event. We asked the crowd, "What does "Pride" mean to you?""It means finally being able to live out and proud.""It's the freedom to celebrate who we are.""Love our neighbor as ourselves and love God!"Some have been coming to the San Diego Pride Parade for decades. "Oh my gosh, she's been 26 years of marching in pride with me," Dana Harwood said of her mother. "...And I love my lesbian daughter!" her mother, Bobbi said. For others, this year's parade is their debut to the world. "Fours months ago, I started my transition," Grace McBride said. "I am just so happy now that I came out to be authentic."For 55 years, people called her Dale. But today, she is proudly Grace."Dale was struggling. Dale was a Marine. Dale worked for the cable company, and anymore now I just want to share the love," McBride said. It has been a long struggle for the LGBTQ community. The most notable moment was the Stonewall Riots in 1969, where New York Police raided LGBTQ members staying at the Stonewall Inn. "Stonewall gave us a sense of freedom. She made it a point to make it back to her hometown Pride this year."I had to show off my new hairdo!" she said.What was once considered 'underground' or 'shameful' has now become part of mainstream culture, even mainstream media. This year, many familiar faces of the 10News team joined the 10News float and greeted parade-goers. 14-year-old Alexis Engelmann came out as lesbian last year. She says she is lucky to have her entire family in her corner. "It's cool because it's not really different at all," her younger brother Mile said. "We just like to support her and help her succeed in life."Like the thousands of people at the parade, Alexis is proud. She is celebrating, not hiding her Pride.
