WILL 2020 CHANGE CONVENTIONS? With the events now online, after these next two weeks, both parties will likely sit down and see if in-person conventions need to be changed at all. Do parties need a full week of expensive arena space? Or would that money be better spent on staffing in swing states? Will Americans tune in like they did in 2016 this year? The former Minneapolis police officer charged with killing George Floyd and three other officers accused of aiding and abetting in his death are scheduled to appear in court on Monday.Derek Chauvin is facing a second-degree murder charge for pinning Floyd to the ground and pressing his knee down on his neck. The cougar spotted traveling through Brookfield, Wisconsin last week was caught on video on someone's front porch.Surveillance video shared with Scripps station TMJ4 in Milwaukee by Dan and Bridget Guerndt shows the cougar coming out from trees. The cougar goes up the residents' driveway and puts its paws on the front window.The footage was captured at 6:30 a.m. on Sunday, February 18.On Saturday, a Brookfield resident called the Department of Natural Resources when they saw a cougar lying in their backyard, under a pine tree.Though they confirmed the animal was a cougar, officers were unable to neutralize it because of the surrounding homes and thick brush.DNR agents went back to the scene on Sunday morning, but the cougar was gone.The fifty pounds and approximately 1-year-old cougar was tracked, but the trail was lost.Experts believe this cougar was the same one that was spotted in Washington County two weeks ago. 967

The general manager at Grayton Road Tavern received a strange phone call from her manager on duty just before 9 p.m. local time Monday.Jennifer Natale said she was called when her employees found out a woman had crawled up through a ceiling tile in the women's bathroom and hadn't come out."It was honestly just one of those phone calls you don't really ever think you're going to get," Natale said. "I asked her to put me on FaceTime, she did that and it was true. I can't even imagine how hot it was for that two-hour period," Natale said.Monday was a record-breaking day reaching 93 degrees in the Cleveland area.Police told Natale the woman had pulled similar stunts in the past. The bar is known for its Queen of Hearts game, which left one lucky winner with .5 million in March.
