WASHINGTON (AP) — President Donald Trump has welcomed Poland's president to the White House, and sending more U.S. troops to Poland to bolster NATO's eastern flank against Russian aggression is at the top of their agenda.Even before Andrzej Duda arrived, the U.S. ambassador to Poland said the U.S. will send another 1,000 troops to Poland — over and above the 1,000 declared last year.But the troops might not necessarily be transferred from Germany, where Trump is planning to withdraw about 10,000 U.S. troops.This is Duda’s third visit to Washington since Trump took office and the first head of state visit at the White House since the pandemic began.Trump and Duda are expected to hold a joint press conference at about 3:30 p.m. ET at the White House. Their rallies were heard loudly and they have put pressure on lawmakers to enact gun reform during their visits to Tallahassee and during school walkouts. During a news conference, DeVos gave credit to the students for finding their voice and for taking interest in seeing what adults are going to do in response to the massacre. "People across the country in states and communities have addressed some of the concerns, some of the issues that have arisen here," DeVos said. "But we need to help elevate those opportunities and make sure people know there are solutions that can be engaged immediately."When pressed about the solutions she referenced, the secretary did not offer specifics. He said Thursday he believes he was infected in Philadelphia and he's not experiencing any symptoms.Lewandowski appeared with Trump lawyer Rudy Giuliani at an event last Saturday outside a landscaping company and lobbed unfounded accusations of voter fraud as the race was called for Trump’s challenger, now-President-elect Joe Biden.Lewandowski was also at the election night party at the White House last week linked to several virus cases.Numerous White House and campaign officials have tested positive in this latest wave of infections, including Trump chief of staff Mark Meadows.Republican and Democratic election officials nationwide have said publicly the election went well. WAUKESHA COUNTY, Wisc. -- A Town of Merton man was charged after he called police when sex workers he hired allegedly stole his phone.Scott A Peschmann, 41, along with Victoria Pena, 24, and Maria Lebron, 27, were charged with prostitution and theft after meeting at Peschmann's home for sex, according to the criminal complaint. "Officers made contact with Scott Peschmann who indicated that three females had been at his residence and had stolen his cell phone and 0 in cash," said the criminal complaint. Peschmann had met Pena on the website, "back page," and arranged for an "intimate evening." They agreed upon a price of 0 for various sexual acts.  "Peshmann indicated that he had left four 0 bills on the corner fo the front room desk as a donation for the girls," said the criminal complaint. Peshmann noticed that his cell phone and the money were missing when Lebron went to the car to get a condom. The women were later stopped after officers spotted their vehicle and Peschman's phone was found in Lebron's purse.   1120
