(KGTV) — A California Highway Patrol officer found himself in the right place at just the right time this week on a Northern California freeway.CHP officer Jeffrey Lloyd was completing a traffic stop on State Route 99 Monday when an SUV pulled up behind him. A woman in the right passenger seat was going into labor and about to give birth, according to CHP'S South Sacramento office.Officer Lloyd informed dispatch of the situation and gatherer medical equipment to help deliver the baby right there on the freeway. (KGTV) - A group of Massachusetts police officers and firefighters are being hailed as heroes after coming to the aid of a choking puppy this week.North Reading resident Megan Vitale stormed into a police station Sunday telling officers her 9-week-old Saint Bernard puppy, Bodhi, was choking on food. An acquaintance came running in with Bodhi shortly after, the puppy limp and unresponsive in his arms, surveillance footage from the station showed.A group of officers came running out to begin administering first aid to the puppy. (KGTV) — Bombshell testimony was dropped on the third day of a Navy SEAL's trial over the fatal stabbing an injured teenage ISIS combatant in Iraq.Navy SEAL Special Operator First Class Corey Scott testified Thursday that he was responsible for the teen's death, not fellow SEAL Chief Edward Gallagher, who is accused of murdering the injured fighter after he was captured.Scott told the court that he held down the teen's breathing tube so that he couldn't breathe after seeing Gallagher stab the combatant.
