Roughly 90 percent of the population has died as the disease spread rapidly, according to Aussie Ark.Since then, Aussie Ark has created a breeding center for the animals. The 30 animals being released in the latest project came from this center.Tasmanian Devils prefer open forests and woodlands, and are more scavengers than hunters. They got a grant over the summer to put together a physical design plan for cities to best cope with social distancing, capacity restrictions and high voter turnout.“How you can make use of streets and public spaces to alleviate some of those issues and of course add some comfort elements like tents, seats, sanitation stations periodically throughout the queue,” said Lydon.The plans cover all types of polling locations, and how to properly do drive-up, curbside, outdoor and indoor voting.There are many potential problems for election officials when situations can change quickly.“COVID being this unknown variable, you could have a spike in the next three weeks at a certain location and that might totally change what was planned for in person indoor voting to go outdoors,” said Lydon.Street Plans is also offering free consulting assistance to cities. STILLWATER, Okla. — At Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, officials on Monday confirmed 23 positive cases of COVID-19 at an off-campus sorority house.All of the students living in the house were placed in isolation and are prohibited from leaving the facility, the university said in a statement.“Due to the nature of this situation, the entire chapter house is in isolation or quarantine and will be prohibited from leaving the facility,” the university wrote. “One member of the sorority who lives elsewhere is among those who tested positive and will also remain in isolation.”All involved are being monitored by OSU and the Payne County Health Department.
