SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — An autopsy report for a San Diego State student who died after falling from his bed after a night of partying revealed elevated alcohol levels.The report from the county Medical Examiner found that Dylan Hernandez, 19, died of blunt force injuries of head and ruled his death an accident. At the time of the autopsy, a toxicology report said elevated alcohol levels of 0.06 percent and cannabinoids were found in his system. However, earlier reports from campus police said he had a 0.23 percent blood-alcohol level the morning he fell.Hernandez fell from his bunk bed in the early morning hours of Nov. 7, 2019, after a fraternity party that night. The family said they believed campus police were not pursuing certain angles, including a possible cover-up."The Hernandez family is concerned because witnesses they provided to SDSU and UPD still have not been questioned," George Kindley, the Hernandez family's lawyer, said.Hernandez's family claims SDSU Police never sought out warrants for Snapchat videos or phone records from members of Phi Gamma Delta fraternity, the fraternity Hernandez was pledging to join. I think he would be so happy that people are seeing his art," said Mary Anne Nucci.Nucci's brother, Roger Francis Reed, was drafted into the Marine Corps when he was 18-years-old, serving two years in Vietnam. "He had a tough time in civilian life. War, being that young, was tough on him," Nucci. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - About 30 employees and friends of Hess Brewery will shave their heads Saturday to help raise money for pediatric cancer research.The event is a fundraiser for St. Baldrick's, a foundation that focuses on finding a cure for cancer.Brewery owner Mike Hess says the fundraiser is deeply personal, as his daughter Keely has been fighting Osteosarcoma since last August."Help me get rid of this mop! This is the longest my hair has been since I was a kid," Hess says in a video posted to YouTube.The event will be from 2-6 pm at the Hess Brewery and tasting room in North Park. The public is invited, and people can even decide to shave their own heads if they feel so inspired."It breaks my heart," says Beer-Tender Cassia O'Laughlin. "We need money to research so that kids don't have to go through cancer."Childhood cancer affects 300,000 kids per year, according to St. Baldrick's.
