SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - The pandemic, protests, riots, there's a lot of stressors out there, but Licensed Psychologist Dr. Michelle Carcel has a few ways to find positivity."We have to go through those motions to be effective and to make sure that we can therefore get to a place where we can actually feel positive," Dr. Carcel said.She said cut out negativity, from social media to people you know, "there are so many things that we can feel terrible about right now and that's something we have to honor and we can also find that one moment in the day where we stopped and smelled the flowers."She said focus on the positives, find three things each day you are grateful for. Doing this each day trains your brain to look for the positives. She also said exercise and advocacy are two great ways to change your perspective."Advocacy, you know helping out, doing volunteer work. If you really feel passionate about what's going on right now you can advocate, you have a voice and your voice matters," Carcel said writing leaders is very important right now.Voices were raised across the U.S. at peaceful protests, creating positive change, interactions and dialogue this week after the tragic death of George Floyd."I'm really going to recommend if you have a friend or somebody of a different ethnicity or culture, engage in a productive conversation. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — There have been 137 community outbreaks reported in San Diego County since June 1, according to San Diego County health officials.Since March 25, the county has reported 164 community outbreaks that have resulted in 1,220 coronavirus cases:March: 3April: 16May: 8June: 34July: 93August: 10County officials broke those numbers down from June 1, 2020, to Aug. 4, 2020, where the majority of community outbreaks have been reported at restaurant/bar and business settings. See the data below:The county adds that community outbreaks between June and August from business, restaurant, and restaurant/bar settings have resulted in a total of 212 cases in June, 508 cases in July, and 48 cases in August.On Wednesday, the county reported 30 community outbreaks, much high than the county's trigger of seven in a week.Even though a restaurant or restaurant/bar is linked to a community outbreak, County Public Health Officer Dr. Wilma Wooten says that doesn't mean a business is failing to adhere to public health orders.RELATED: San Diego County Board approves plan to allow businesses to operate at county parks"It may not mean there's anything going on wrong at the restaurant or at the restaurant/bar," Wooten said. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — The Port of San Diego is taking extra precautions with cruise lines amid heightened awareness surrounding the coronavirus.About 38 ships are expected to dock in San Diego through May, some shops that rely on travelers are concerned business may slow down if cruises are canceled.Some say they've already noticed a change.The Port of San Diego says they installed these hand washing stations once the coronavirus concerns started rising. "This is a tourist community, very much so."But recently Smart says she's noticed business is slowing down and concerns over the coronavirus might be to blame."As you can see it's kind of empty right now," Smart said. "Being that people try these on, I always spray them I disinfect them and this is the solution."Smart usually sees a boost in business when cruise ships dock in San Diego. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- The San Diego Police Department is looking for 72-year-old Dania Josefina Lopez, a woman who is believed to be missing and at-risk. Lopez was last seen by her family at 9 a.m. on Monday and has not been heard from since. Family members said Lopez suffers from dementia and has high blood pressure. She did not take her medication with her when she left home in San Diego's South Bay area. Lopez is described as 5'2", 150 lbs with brown eyes and gray hair.
