NEW YORK (AP) — Mail-in voting has gotten off to a rocky start in New York City, where election officials sent out a large number of absentee ballots with the wrong names and addresses on the return envelopes.The faulty ballots were sent to an unknown number of voters in Brooklyn and could result in ballots being voided if voters sign their own name on return envelopes bearing different names. More than 140,000 ballots have already been sent out so far across the borough. NEW YORK (AP) -- Fire officials say a man has been killed in in a raging apartment fire at Trump Tower in New York City.Fire Commissioner Daniel Nigro says a 50th-floor apartment at the midtown tower was "virtually entirely on fire" when firefighters arrived after 5:30 p.m. Saturday.Fire officials say a man who was in the apartment was taken to a hospital and later died. Four firefighters suffered minor injuries. President Donald Trump tweeted earlier that the fire was "Very confined (well built building)." Trump's business is based at Trump Tower and his residence is there, but he has spent little time in New York since taking office.Nigro says no member of the Trump family was at the building on Saturday.He says about 200 firefighters battled the blaze. 783

Nestlé Prepared Foods is recalling more than 92,000 pounds of its Lean Cuisine Baked Chicken frozen meals after receiving complaints from consumers finding plastic pieces in their meals.On Saturday, the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced the products that may be contaminated with extraneous materials, specifically white hard plastic pieces.The agency believes that the mashed potatoes used in the meal were contaminated with pieces of a plastic conveyor belt that broke during production.According to the press release, the products were produced and packaged on September 2, 2020, and shipped nationwide. Sesame Workshop — the nonprofit, educational organization behind “Sesame Street” — will air the half-hour anti-racist special “The Power of We” and hopes families will watch together. The special defines racism and shows how it can be hurtful. It urges children who encounter racism or hear someone else be the victim of it to call it out.
