(KGTV) -- NASA Friday shared photos of several major California wildfires from space. The photos shared by the agency shows the Camp, Woolsey and Hill fires as seen from a satellite. One photo appears to show the city of Paradise on fire. Phone calls between President Donald Trump's personal attorney, Michael Cohen, and the White House are being monitored by the Federal Bureau of Investigations, according to a report.Cohen's phones are being monitored through a log of which numbers it connects with, the report says. President Trump and Cohen have had at least one conversation since Cohen's offices were raided in connection to an alleged payment the attorney made to a porn star who says she had an affair with Trump.The report says the phone monitoring was approved by a judge weeks prior to the April 9 raid on Cohen's house in New York City. In the raid, authorities seized files related to the alleged payment Cohen made to Stormy Daniels for 0,000. The money was allegedly to pay her to keep quiet about the affair she says she and Trump had in 2006.An earlier report said Cohen's phones had been wire-tapped, but that was found to be false. 950

PINELLAS COUNTY, Fla. — A handful of parents are fuming over a sex ed course being taught in their children’s school and the religious group that's teaching it.Mona Mangat, the mom of an 8th-grader at Thurgood Marshall Middle School in Pinellas County, Florida, said she and other parents are “angry about this, upset about this and trying to figure out how this is possible.”Mangat knew one thing for sure: Her daughter would opt out of a sex ed course being taught Thursday by the Christian faith-based group More2Life.“It’s shocking when you find out that faith-based groups are providing this information in schools. I had no idea. I thought that was not allowed in the United States, but I guess I was wrong," she explained.Mangat said she worries the curriculum is biased especially since the group is linked to a pro-life crisis pregnancy center in Largo called New Life Solutions. The More2Life group focuses on abstinence in their presentation to schools.In one presentation they told students, “Sex is like fire. It's safe in its proper context like a committed marriage, just like it's safe in a fireplace.”In another, while speaking about the high rate of STDs, a leader told students, "Have you ever played duck, duck, goose? Now it's like duck, duck, chlamydia." Scripps station WFTS in Tampa took parents' concerns straight to Jason Dorr, the director of More2Life, who said their program does not discuss religion."Our message is completely a health message,” Dorr explained.Dorr added, in line with Florida rules, they encourage abstaining from sex before marriage. The organization has spent 19 years talking to students about the consequences of STDs and teen pregnancy. “We always make this clear: We are not here to tell you what to do. This is an option for your life and we want to present that to you so you can make your own choices," Dorr added. “We are teaching them to have a healthy life and reach their goals without the consequences that can affect their future, so it's adding to what they're already learning at home.”Dorr also said 95 percent of teachers give them high ratings and highly recommend their program to other classrooms.Mangat is fighting to get the program out of schools and swapped out for one that focuses purely on facts.“The choice to have sex is intensely personal. Police Chief Mike Koval in Madison, Wisconsin arrested WISC-TV Meteorologist Dave Caufield during a live newscast for "stealing spring," according to the station.Koval and Capt. Cory Nelson 'arrested' Caufield for charges of spreading false hope for warmer weather and not following through on promises."You are so infatuated with breaking records that we believe you are instigating this prolonged pain and misery," Koval said.Caufield said he's taking the fall for Mother Nature's crimes.Although we're all upset about the weather, the only one to blame here is Mother Nature herself. PARRIS ISLAND, S.C. – Two sets of sisters graduated Marine Corps recruit training together, further strengthening their bonds.The Marine Corps Recruit Depot (MCRD) in Parris Island, South Carolina, says one set includes Virginia sisters Ashley and Amber Valentine, while the other is comprised of Maria, Vanessa and Melissa Placido Jaramillo, who grew up in Nevada.According to MCRD, the Valentine sisters joined shortly after their grandfather passed away and wanted to carry on his legacy in the U.S. armed services.Ashley, 19, and Amber, 22, say having each other to rely on through training helped during some of their highest highs and lowest lows.“I went through a moment during first phase where I received some bad news in a letter, and she was there to be a shoulder for me to lean on,” Amber said in a press release posted to MCRD’s Facebook page.However, the Valentines won’t be attending combat training together, because Ashley suffered a hip fracture prior to graduation and must heal. After combat training, Amber plans to serve in the communications field and Ashley will be certified as a motor transportation operator.As for the Placido Jaramillo family, Maria, Vanessa and Melissa made a pact to join the military together when they were young children, according to MCRD. Melissa and Vanessa, both 22, are identical twins. Maria is a year younger than them at age 21.During recruit training, Melissa says the sisters succeeded thanks to friendly competition and daily positive affirmation.MCRD says the three sisters have yet to find out what military occupational specialty they will be assigned but are looking forward to what the Marine Corps has in store for them.
