EL CAJON, Calif. (KGTV)- A man in an El Cajon neighborhood is frustrated after weeks of watching an Amazon delivery driver speed through his neighborhood. The resident, who didn't want to release his name, said, “I mean, there’s been times I've seen them go 10 to15 miles per hour, then I’ve seen them go 20 plus.”The signs in the neighborhood list the speed limit at 5 miles per hour. With the holiday season among us, the delivery traffic is up. "With Amazon, they pull down our street maybe 3 to 4 times a week and I’d say more than half the time they’re speeding," he said.He was able to identify the company affiliation because of the Amazon packages in the car and on the dashboard. The neighbor tried reaching out to Amazon but didn’t like the response he got."The very first thing the lady said to me was, 'do you have proof'.” 10News reached out to Amazon and talked with a representative on the phone. Eight people were injured during a shooting at the Mayfair Mall in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, Friday afternoon, chief of police Barry Weber told reporters. Weber confirmed that seven of the injured were adults, while one teen was among the victims. Weber did not know the extent of their injuries. Weber said when police arrived at the mall Friday afternoon, the shooter was no longer at the scene. As of early Friday evening, a suspect has not been found. A person said she heard gunshots near the food court in the mall. (KGTV) – The superintendent of an El Cajon senior living apartment complex says police told him they have arrested a suspect in a series of robberies that have taken place on the sidewalk in front of the building. The arrest comes less than 24 hours after a 10News story aired surveillance video showing two of the muggings outside the Salvation Army apartments on South Anza Street."I actually jumped up and down with excitement," said super Alex Harmon, describing his reaction to the news. He says the surveillance video was key evidence. Harmon says there have been at least five incidents between October 15 and December 24. In one instance, the thief and a possible accomplice are seen carefully observing resident, May Kanao, while passing her on the street. The thief then turned and followed Kanao around the corner. He attempted to rip the gold chain off her neck, coming away with the gold cross which had been attached. The thief is then seen running back down South Anza St. In the other incident, which took place in October, the thief is seen engaging a 97-year-old resident who uses a walker in conversation, convincing her to open her bag. He quickly rifled through it, grabbed her wallet, and walked away.10News contacted the El Cajon Police Department. DULZURA, Calif. (CNS) -- Firefighters were working Tuesday to extinguish a brush fire that has charred at least 100 acres of vegetation near the U.S.-Mexico border.The so-called Border 11 Fire was reported around 8:30 p.m. Monday in a mountainous area west of Marron Valley and south of Dulzura, Cal Fire Capt. Issac Sanchez said, adding that no homes or structures were immediately threatened.The fire was located in an area that was difficult to access, but heavy cloud cover and high humidity Tuesday morning was helping to keep the flames at bay, Sanchez said.Crews requested an air attack to help crews on the ground, but aircraft were unable to fly Tuesday morning because of the heavy cloud cover, he said. A better estimate about the size of the fire will be available once air crews are able to survey the area.The cause of the fire was under investigation.As of 3:30 p.m., the fire was 60 percent contained. 926
