(KGTV) — An arrest has been made in connection with an Escondido house fire this week where a man was found unresponsive and later died.Jose Trinidad Romero, 32, was arrested Wednesday after his truck was stopped by police in Escondido. Investigators said they believe Romero knew the man found unresponsive in the fire, but are unsure of the exact relationship. On Oct. 4, firefighters and police responded to the fire in the 600 block of Waverly Place. The victim, who has not been publicly identified, was found inside unresponsive. (KGTV) -- Encinitas lifeguards are investigating after a Panga Boat washed ashore Friday afternoon.According to lifeguards, the 20-foot boat washed ashore around 4 p.m. on the 300 block of El Portal Street and about 11 people ran from the vessel.Lifeguards say they don’t believe anyone was injured or needed medical attention.Border Patrol, Homeland Security, and the Sheriff’s Department were all notified about the incident. FALLBROOK (CNS) - A 28-year-old man was busted in Fallbrook for agreeing to purchase alcohol for a minor, authorities said Saturday.The man was arrested Friday night in a so-called "Shoulder Tap" operation and was the only one out of 20 adults asked by a minor decoy working with deputies who agreed to purchase alcohol for the teenager, according to Sgt.
