WASHINGTON — Outgoing Attorney General William Barr says he sees “no reason” to appoint a special counsel on potential election fraud or the tax investigation into the son of President-elect Joe Biden. Barr said Monday in his final press conference as Attorney General that the investigation into Hunter Biden's financial dealings was “being handled responsibly and professionally.” “To this point I have not seen a reason to appoint a special counsel and I have no plan to do so before I leave,” Barr said on Monday. Video of an Arizona guitar hero is wowing people around the country.  The guitarist is Ridge Brown, a senior at Ironwood High School in Glendale, Arizona. He played the national anthem for a school assembly and the video posted by his teacher has gone viral, with thousands of clicks and attention from national news outlets. The reason, Ridge is a student with autism. The performance in front of his classmates was the first time he played in public, and he nailed it. "I was a little nervous, but I always felt excited," Ridge told Scripps station KNXV in Phoenix. "Autism can't hold me back because I'm a real rock star." That's the message his dad, Glen Brown, loves to hear. "There's a very, very smart person inside there, trying to get out," Glen said. Glen's mission in life is unlocking that potential. These days, Glen said Ridge loves talking and interacting with people, but that wasn't always the case. Ridge was nonverbal until age three. (KGTV) -- The suspect deputies say broke into a Vista bike shop and stole more than ,400 worth of merchandise has been arrested.Ronald Gardner of Escondido was arrested on March 28 after deputies served a search warrant at his home.Gardner was arrested and booked into the Vista Detention Facility for burglary, possession of stolen property and possession of a controlled substance.Deputies also say three bicycles and some of the stolen sunglasses and bicycle parts were recovered and given back to the owner of the bike shop.RELATED: Vista bike shop targeted by thieves for the third time in six months?The owner of the “211 Bikes,” Jesse McCormack, found out that his shop had been burglarized after receiving a call from his security company.McCormack said this was the third time in six months the bike shop had been broken into. 874

VISTA, Calif. (KGTV) - A man was sentenced to 10 years in prison Thursday for sexually assaulting a 15-year-old girl while she rode in an ambulance. The California Highway Patrol launched an investigation into the Feb. 21, 2017 incident involving 34-year-old David Carpio, a private ambulance company employee. The girl was being transported to Tri-City Medical Center in Oceanside when Carpio assaulted her and asked for her Snapchat information to start a relationship with her, investigators said. A CHP investigator posing as the girl communicated with Carpio through social media and text messages over several months, during which time officials gained damaging information. Other alleged female victims also came forward with claims against Carpio, saying he had sexually assaulted them when he was their neighbor. One of the women was 16 years old at the time of the encounter. Carpio pleaded guilty to sexual assault charges and was sentenced Thursday for sexual penetration of a minor and sexual battery. 1022
