We have patients with the same MRI and they're in a wheelchair."She now has a titanium plate that straightens her spine and protects her in case she is in a future crash.The next crash was in traffic on I-5, February of 2017. "I kept noticed his head bobbing down, looking down, I realized he was on his cell phone and wham! He hits me from behind," she said.Tuesday she was hit from behind again. This time she says she stopped at a red light about to turn onto I-8 Eastbound from La Mesa Boulevard. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) – A suspicious backpack prompted a bomb squad response downtown Tuesday afternoon. According to San Diego Fire-Rescue, the incident unfolded around 3:30 p.m. just outside the federal building on the 800 block of Front Street. Authorities say a security guard at the building saw a man acting suspiciously before tossing a military backpack into a planter. After using special equipment to examine the bag, the bomb squad found only personal items inside the bag. The FBI said it sent agents to the scene, but that the "matter is being led by Federal Protective Services." 596

SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - A strong 7.1 magnitude earthquake shook Ridgecrest Friday night, a day after a 6.4 quake rattled the same area of Southern California.Friday's tremor happened at 8:19 p.m. and was centered 11 miles outside the high desert town. It was felt throughout southern California and as far east as Las Vegas. The quake was described as a rolling motion that seemed to last at least a half-minute.No deaths are reported as a result of the violent earthquake, according to Kern County Fire Department Chief David Witt. CAL OES said a number of injuries have been reported though.CAL OES officials added several structure fires, gas line breaks, water main breaks, and power outages were reported following the shake-up.Kern County Saturday press conference:Ridgecrest Saturday press conference:"Intel is still being gathered.
