Police in North Haven, Connecticut have arrested a man they said implied he was going to hand out candy filled with poison to trick-or-treaters.Detectives received an anonymous tip about alarming statements made by 57-year-old Ronald Przybylo.Upon their investigation, police said they found disturbing posts and videos that led them to believe the man was possibly dangerous.Police said Przybylo allegedly posted comments implying that he planned to provide candy filled with rat poison to trick-or-treaters.Przybylo also reportedly referenced several mass killings from around the country and “dubbed himself the Halloween Lunatic,” police said.When officers responded to his home, they found floors and furniture to be completely covered with animal urine and feces.The North Haven Animal Control and the Quinnipiac Valley Health Department responded and removed three dogs, three cats, and an Amazon African Bird.Ronald Przybylo was arrested and charged with second-degree breach of peace, seven counts of animal cruelty, and was held on a ,000 bond.Maryellen Przybylo was also arrested and charged with seven counts of animal cruelty and was released on a ,500 bond.She’s expected to appear in court on Nov. 9. 1233

PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Bill Cosby's lawyers are arguing in a new appeals filing that it was “fundamentally unfair” to let prosecutors use Cosby's damaging deposition from a sex accuser's lawsuit against him at trial. The filing made Tuesday largely focuses on what Cosby believes was a binding promise from a district attorney that he wouldn't be charged in the case. A spokeswoman for the Montgomery County district attorney's office isn't commenting but says prosecutors will file a response within a month. She said in his obituary that "his death is due to the carelessness of the politicians who continue to jeopardize the health of brown bodies."Urquiza says her dad was one of her best friends and very generous guy. She’s speaking our with hopes of saving other people of color from the disease.“Seeing those disparities play out in my hometown, in my home neighborhood, and then having my dad go through this awful fight for his life and not be able to make it, I knew that I needed to speak my truth,” said Urquiza.Fiana Tulip's mother, Isabelle, was a respiratory therapist for 30 years. She was a year from retirement. Tulip says her mom continued to go into work even though she didn't have enough personal protective equipment and knew she was putting her life at risk. She passed away from COVID-19 on July 4 in Texas.Tulip says her mom was a “giant in her kindness,” as well as loving, giving, strong and resilient.“My mom was so brave, and I want her to be remembered as somebody who was thoughtful and who was generous and who was a hero, somebody who gave her life to save others,” said Tulip.She says in her mom's obituary "her undeserving death is due to the carelessness of politicians who undervalue health care workers."Mark and Isabelle are just two of the more than 210,000 lives lost to COVID-19 in the U.S.Tulip says if the country keeps ignoring the fact that people are dying, we’re going to have pretty traumatic effects later on.“So, it's important to feel and to share the warmth and to spread the love right now,” she said.“We are putting a stake in the ground to say we need to recognize, and recognition begins with collective mourning. Pizza Hut will replace Papa John's as the official pizza of the NFL.The announcement comes a day after Papa John's said it would end its sponsorship of the league.
