A young girl was reportedly injured by a service dog on a Southwest Airlines flight from Phoenix on Wednesday night. The incident occurred on flight 1904, which was headed to Portland, Oregon at the time. Southwest Airlines told Scripps station KNXV in Phoenix that the support dog's teeth "scraped a child's forehead as the young passenger approached the animal, causing a minor injury." They confirm the child was cleared to continue on with the flight. Passenger Todd Rice posted the incident on Twitter, with a photo of the dog on the plane. The dog and handler were removed from the flight without incident, Rice told ABC News.According to Southwest Airlines, the dog and handler remained in Phoenix while the aircraft departed about 20 minutes behind schedule. "As always, the safety of our Customers is our highest priority," Southwest said in a statement. 916

Instead, President Trump signed an executive order for Lost Wage Assistance, while Congress is still in a stalemate over a new stimulus package.Until the president’s order kicks in, after states apply for the help and get approved, everyone on unemployment is being forced to live off their respective state's normal unemployment benefit. In many states, the average benefit payout is meager, at best.“The national average for unemployment dropped from nearly 0 a week to just 8 a week in June of this year, because so many low wage workers were losing their jobs,” said Andrew Stettner, a senior fellow at The Century Foundation.Stettner has been heavily researching and analyzing unemployment benefits with the New York and D.C.-based independent think tank. Part of his research and analysis shows low-wage workers could be getting far less than that average state weekly benefit. For example, in a state like Hawaii, some low wage workers could be getting the state’s minimum payout of just a week right now. Akron, Ohio police are investigating after three women were found dead inside a home on Saturday night.It happened around 7:40 p.m. while officers were conducting a welfare check at a house in Akron. According to department, the officers first tried knocking on the door and when no one answered, they began looking through the windows and saw a woman on the floor. They then forced entry inside and discovered two other women.All three women were pronounced dead at the scene by EMS of suspected drug overdoses.Police aren't releasing their names at this time, but say they were 20, 20 and 21-years-old.  623

After two and a half weeks of historic destruction, the Camp Fire in Northern California is 100% contained, but the search for remains threatens to push the death toll over 85, where it stood early Sunday.It's already the state's deadliest fire.Officials found two bodies in Paradise and another in Magalia, both of which sit just west of the Plumas National Forest, roughly 100 miles north of Sacramento.Since it began November 8, the fire has destroyed almost 14,000 homes, 514 businesses and 4,265 other buildings. It has covered more than 153,000 acres, roughly the size of Chicago.Cal Fire, the state's forestry and fire protection agency, announced the fire was completely contained early Sunday. As of Saturday evening, the uncontained portion of the fire was along steep terrain unsafe for firefighters due to recent heavy rains, the agency said.More than 2,500 people are now accounted for, according to the Butte County Sheriff's Office.
