Shortly after the report came to light, Gillum released a statement claiming that he had been in Miami for a wedding."While I had too much to drink, I want to be clear that I have never used methamphetamines," Gillum said. "I apologize to the people of Florida for the distraction this has caused our movement."On Sunday, March 15, Gillum announced that he was checking into a rehab facility for alcohol abuse. In the statement, he said that he "fell into a depression" after his unsuccessful gubernatorial run in Florida, which lead to alcohol abuse.Gillum served as the mayor of Tallahassee from 2014 until 2018. TEMECULA, Calif. (KGTV) -- The United States Geological Survey is reporting that an earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 4.4 struck near Temecula. According to the USGS, the quake hit around 6:24 p.m. roughly 20 miles east of Temecula. A 3.0 magnitude aftershock hit the same area at 6:53 p.m. Residents of the town reported feeling the quake. According to the USGS "did you feel it" map, residents all over San Diego and Orange Counties felt the earthquake. Area businesses reported feeling shaking. TEMECULA, Calif. (KGTV) - U.S. Border Patrol agents arrested a man Sunday on suspicion of smuggling more than 143 pounds of methamphetamine on Interstate 15 in Temecula. Agents pulled over the Ford F-150 near the Border Patrol checkpoint at 9:15 p.m. A K-9 unit alerted agents during an exterior search. A secondary inspection led to the discovery of 33 bundles of meth inside the wood paneling, officials said. The drugs had an estimated street value of 0,640.
