SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- A San Diego woman said her ex-boyfriend stole naked pictures of her and posted one online without her permission. She said people saw the post and took screenshots of it.She’s now suing the man she says posted the photo, her ex-boyfriend William Ashley Oliver III."This pretty much consumed my life,” she told Team 10 investigator Adam Racusin.That’s L.S describing how one social media post of her naked body wrecked her sense of security. 10News is not naming the woman, but instead using the initials L.S. as they appear in her lawsuit against Oliver to protect her identity.“He was threatening for so long to do it that I didn't think he'd really do it,” she said.Their relationship started as most do: Girl meets boy, they fall in love and move in together. "I felt like I really got to know him fast and fell in love fast,” she said.Just like many relationships, everything was great until it wasn't. Unlike the typical breakup story, here's where this takes a different path.L.S. said she moved back to California in October of last year, about eight months after the relationship started.Oliver came to visit in late November, but things did not go well, she said.She said her ex-boyfriend became aggressive."He smashed my laptop in two, he smashed my brand new iPhone on the ground until it was shattered, and was calling me really horrible things,” she said.According to the lawsuit she filed, before leaving, Oliver took L.S’s passport and jewelry from the bathroom sink.A few days after that incident, while Oliver was still in San Diego, he began sending harassing text messages and copies of private photographs to L.S. to make it clear that at some point in their relationship he illegally accessed her computers and cell phones and stole sexually explicit and private digital photographs without her consent, the lawsuit stated."The pictures that he had were never sent to him they were taken before I ever met him," she said.According to the lawsuit, Oliver texted her: “Posted all your naked pics to the industry whore boards.” It said he also wrote among other things: “Your pics are getting blasted on services Moxy.”The lawsuit says L.S.’s pleas for Oliver to stop had no effect on him. The lawsuit claims Oliver then posted a sexually explicit photo of her on his public Instagram account, accessible by anyone, followed with the text: “(y)our naked pics are starting to proliferate.""My best friend sent me a text message, and she just said oh my god, and it was a screenshot of the picture that Will had posted on Instagram of me,” she said.Team 10 investigator Adam Racusin asked her what she thought when she saw that.“I was just so scared,” she said. “I was just devastated.”According to the lawsuit, Oliver admitted he posted the picture. The lawsuit stated L.S. was informed by a friend and multiple colleagues that they saw the photograph on Oliver’s Instagram site and knew it was her."I don’t know how many people have that; it's everywhere,” she said.Team 10 tried to get a hold of Oliver, but he hung up after answering once and didn’t respond to our request for comment.L.S is suing Oliver for revenge porn among other things. She said having her body on display for anyone to see is sickening.When Team 10 asked her how often she thinks about it, she said, “Every day, every day, many times a day.”L.S. did call the police but did not press charges against Oliver. The Penal Code section is 647(j)(4)(A).Typical punishment may include custody of up to six months in county jail per charge, three years of probation, public work service, counseling, a waiver of Fourth Amendment Rights, and fines of up to ,000 per charge.A spokesperson told 10News they’ve filed the charge 11 times since 2015, with nine cases resulting in a conviction, one awaiting trial, and one defendant failing to appear at arraignment.“Revenge porn is an egregious betrayal of a person’s trust, an attack on their privacy and reputation,” said City Attorney Mara W. Elliott. “Victims should know that our Sex Crimes Unit prosecutes these cases aggressively.”A spokesperson for the San Diego County District Attorney said from 2015 to 2018 they located six cases where the facts are consistent with ‘revenge porn.’ 4432

SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - A senior "hero" leapt into action when she saw a man snatching a neighbor's package in the La Jolla area.On a quiet afternoon last week, Gillian Ackland was in her living room when she saw an unfamiliar white car park right in her cul-de-sac off Colima Street in Bird Rock."It felt kind of strange," said Ackland.Next door was a big package sitting outside her neighbor's door.MAP: Track crime happening in your neighborhood"The car suddenly starts backing up diagonally. I realize he's going for the package, and I run out the front door, saw him with the package and ran to his side of the car," said Ackland.Her neighbor's Ring camera captured it all. In the video, a man is seen walking up to the door, grabbing the big package and a smaller one. As he starts running to his car, so does Ackland, who yells, "That's not yours!" three times.He shoves the package in the back seat, but the door didn't fully close."There was adrenaline going," said Ackland.Ackland sensed her chance."I knew I had a few seconds and I could do something - and I did it," said Ackland.She opened the back door and tried to pull the package out. The package starts to fall out, but not far enough, as the car drives off. Ackland has no regrets."The injustice of all kept me going. I just felt it's not right, and I just thought I could get the package away from him," said Ackland.Another neighbor took a photo of the car showing an Uber sticker on the front windshield. Inside the package was a side table. She says the neighbor missing the package thanked her profusely. He told 10News she is a "superhero neighbor.""It's actually a little embarrassing," said Ackland.The video was shared on the "Neighbors by Ring" app."It's important that neighbors look out for each other. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - An autopsy report released Friday by the San Diego County Medical Examiner indicated a young woman who died after being arrested by San Diego Police had PCP, THC, morphine, and meth in her system. The Medical Examiner determined Aleah Jenkins, 24, died of hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy, due to resuscitated cardiopulmonary arrest while in custody and acute methamphetamine and fentanyl toxicity. Jenkins was arrested during a traffic stop in University City on Nov. 27. Officers determined she was wanted on an outstanding warrant for meth possession and arrested her. They also found a bag of methamphetamine in the car, according to the autopsy report. During the traffic stop, police called paramedics because Jenkins vomited. She said it was due to an upset stomach, and officers said they canceled the ambulance call. RELATED: San Diego woman dies in the hospital after arrestJenkins was taken to SDPD headquarters, where police went to get water for her, the autopsy indicated. When the officers returned, they found Jenkins unresponsive. There was a bag of white powder on the ground near her, and a glass vial and another bag of white powder in her clothing, the autopsy report said. The Medical Examiner’s report indicated the officers administered CPR, and she had a pulse when paramedics arrived to take her to the hospital Jenkins died at UC San Diego Medical Center on Dec. 6. The Medical Examiner’s autopsy summary indicated Jenkins had no injuries which would have contributed to her death. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - An almost strangled coyote is getting sympathy from Katie Ryan's neighbors in Oaks North in Rancho Bernardo and from online friends."People are just 'Wow! This is phenomenal. Let's get her rescued, let's get her rescued!'" Ryan said.What appears to be 5- or 6-inch length of plastic flex-pipe that might have been discarded is wrapped tightly around the coyote's neck."Little critters try to make a home in there and other wildlife try to bring out a meal and it's obvious she got her head stuck in there and couldn't back it out," Ryan said.RELATED: Man in construction worker disguise suspected in series of San Diego break-insRyan's familiar with this particular coyote; having seen it out and about for years. Many people fear coyotes but she appreciates the wildlife she watches nightly."They're part of the eco-system here; they clean up; this was one of my favorite rat-catchers," Ryan said.She's worried that cuts on the coyote's neck will get infected and poison it; so she and others have been trying to capture the animal.  "Little tidbits of goodies to lead her in this direction and she almost got into a smaller coyote trap," she added.Wednesday night, they set up a larger trap; one that is mountain lion-sized but no success."She stayed ten feet away from the corner; I think she knew, she spotted the difference in the trap. They're very sensitive to change in the environment and when that happens, they run off," Ryan said.Her brainstorming with others now; hoping to get to the coyote in time; somehow."We're hoping we get her and get her some medical help; get her fixed up and put back into nature." 1703

SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - A shopping trip in City Heights ended with a flurry of anti-gay slurs and a road rage assault.On Tuesday afternoon, Marco Aguirre spent an hour shopping, before heading back to his truck, parked in the 3700 block on University Avenue."I back out and lightly bump the car behind me," said Aguirre, 49.Aguirre says he saw two men emerge from an older-model, red sedan. Aguirre apologized, offering to show his insurance, but the men were agitated."The driver came on my side and the passenger came on the other side. Both of them were screaming," said Aguirre.With his cellphone, Aguirre, who is openly gay, capturing the profanities, including a string of anti-gay slurs. Aguirre was frozen. "I feel terrible. Panicked," said Aguirre.He says the slurs continued for about 15 minutes, before he decided to get out of the car to assess the damage."I see no damage to my truck and no damage to their vehicle," said Aguirre. Aguirre says when he stepped onto the sidewalk, he was attacked."One of the guys grabbed my phone and smashed it into the sidewalk. The same guy punched me in the face, under my left eye," said Aguirre. Aguirre says the two men got in the car and took off, leaving him with swelling under his left eye. The incident also left him determined to find the two men."It's not right. I need to take a stand.
