He hoped that the three countries could dovetail the Silk Road Economic Belt initiative with Russia's transcontinental rail plan and Mongolia's Prairie Road program, and push forward the construction of the China-proposed trilateral economic corridor.
He added that the five nations should enhance coordination and cooperation to safeguard the common interests of emerging markets and developing countries on major international development issues, including the post-2015 development agenda and climate change.
"In the city of Morgantown, West Virginia, where my university is located, nearly half of the elementary schools, middle schools and high schools have already opened Chinese-language courses," Wang told Xinhua, adding that exchange programs between educational institutions in West Virginia and Chinese cities has seen a remarkable boost in the past years.
"Our solution is to co-build a new type of relationship between China and the U.S. featuring non-conflict, non-confrontation as the base line and mutual respect as the interaction principle." Wang said.
They believed that the BRICS nations have become an important force in the global economy, each with its own strengths, and share great cooperation opportunities in agriculture, manufacturing, infrastructure and clean energy.
