DETROIT (AP) — Honda is recalling over 1.6 million minivans and SUVs in the U.S. to fix problems that include faulty backup camera displays, malfunctioning dashboard lights, and sliding doors that don't latch properly. The problems were revealed in four recalls posted Tuesday by the government. They cover certain Odyssey minivans from 2018 to 2020, Pilot SUVs from 2019 through 2021, and Passport SUVs from 2019 and 2020. In a statement posted to its website, the company said they would fix the repairs for free."American Honda will voluntarily recall approximately 608,000 model-year 2018-2020 Honda Odyssey, 2019-2020 Passport and 2019-2021 Pilot vehicles in the United States to complete one or more of four recall repairs, for free," the company said in the statement. "There have been no reports of crashes or injuries related to these actions."Honda has traced the problems to faulty backup camera software programming, water entering door handles, water getting into camera mounting holes, and defective instrument panel software. DENVER, Colo. - Air traffic in and out of Denver International Airport was impacted Tuesday afternoon following COVID-19-related cleaning procedures at an FAA facility on airport grounds, a DIA spokesperson confirmed to Denver7.DIA said they were in a ground stop for only a few minutes around 3:30 p.m. Tuesday. The airport was on a ground delay or traffic management up until 6 p.m., delaying inbound traffic.The stop happened due to COVID-19-related cleaning in an FAA facility on airport property after an FAA employee tested positive for the virus. Air controllers were moved into a backup room to clean the main room. DENVER — An Uber driver kicked a passenger out of their vehicle after a passenger who claimed to have COVID-19 took off her mask, started coughing and refused to put it back on.The Uber driver, who asked to remain anonymous, says he picked up the passenger just before 6 a.m. on Tuesday in Denver.He said the passenger got in the car with a mask on, but she started coughing and took it off once she was inside."You know in this day and age, you should probably have a mask, especially since it's the law and you're sick," the driver told the passenger, according to dash camera video.The woman told the driver that she's not sick. But later, the driver asked if she had COVID-19."Yep, sure do," the passenger said."You said you did?" the driver responded. "Is that the truth? Please, it's my life."The woman ignored the driver and said he needed to take her to her destination. The driver then lost his temper and kicked the woman out of his car."I was angry that someone would be so callous and cavalier with my life," the driver said. "At the end of the ride, when she got out, she said, you've got COVID-19."He filed a complaint with Uber and received an email stating that they would reach out to the rider and take appropriate action. But the driver said someone else ordered the ride for the woman."In this instance, I don't know that Uber could have done anything differently," he said. "She had a mask on when she got in. She was doing everything that she was supposed to."Uber policy requires drivers and passengers to wear a mask and adds that drivers can cancel trips if they don't feel comfortable.In response to a request for comment, Uber laid out the policy and procedures it has implemented in the hopes of keeping people safe, which includes denying passengers access to Uber if they repeatedly violate the mask policy."Her lack of caring for another person is costing me my livelihood as well as potentially getting sick and possibly worse," the driver said.He says he began driving for Uber more than a year ago and has picked up and dropped off hundreds of passengers. DETROIT — The Detroit Free Press/Chemical Bank Marathon is the only International Marathon in the United States.Crossing the U.S.-Canadian border is the highlight for many runners, but this year two marathoners crossed another major threshold during the 26.2-mile run.Whitney Black and Steven Phillips started the Detroit Free Press/Chemical Bank marathon engaged, and sealed the deal halfway to the finish line.What’s even more mind blowing than a mid-marathon wedding is that no one thought Black would ever be able to walk down the aisle, let alone run. She was seriously injured in an accident more than 10 years ago and then hit by a car while running 18 months ago."Twenty-one surgeries in total, (Black) was told she may never walk again," says McCann Black, Whitney's brother. "I’m just so proud of her, watching her set these goals and then blow through them has helped our family a great deal."Today, 13.1 miles into her very first full marathon, Black married her “sole mate,” Phillips. Phillips, by the way, has had quite a journey of his own, losing around 100 pounds.Friends and family waited near the 13.1 mile marker with balloons, a veil, rings and an officiant until Black and Phillips ran up to the makeshift altar."I promise to trust you even when we deviate from our grocery list," Black vowed."I will choose you every day, not because I have to, but because I want to," Phillips said.Their vows were short and sweet. The ceremony lasted about five or six minutes.
