Hurricane Teddy strengthened into a major hurricane Thursday morning, according to the National Hurricane Center (NHC). However, the agency is currently predicting that the storm will not have a major impact on the U.S.According to an 11 a.m. ET update, Teddy strengthed into a Category 3 storm on Thursday with maximum sustained winds of 120 mph.
