Waffle House says it is closing 420 restaurants across the country.In a Tuesday morning tweet, Waffle House said the vast majority of its locations would remain open.According to a map included in Waffle House's tweet, many of the chain's northernmost locations will close. Most of the restaurant's locations in Ohio, northern Virginia and Maryland are among those that will be shut down.Waffle House did not immediately respond to a request for comment.The closures come as the Trump administration has urged Americans to avoid eating in restaurant dining rooms, encouraging them instead to order take-out or go through drive-thrus at least through the weekend.FEMA has confirmed that they measure the severity of a disaster by how many Waffle Houses in an area remain open. He says the USS Farragut, an Arleigh Burke-class destroyer, asked the Russian ship to change course and the ship initially refused but ultimately moved away. Even though the Russian ship moved away, the Navy spokesman says the delay in shifting course “increased the risk of collision.” “The U.S. Navy continues to remain vigilant and is trained to act in a professional manner,” wrote the U.S. 5th Fleet on Twitter.Farragut sounded five short blasts, the international maritime signal for danger of a collision, and requested the Russian ship alter course in accordance with international rules of the road. 944

WASHINGTON (AP) — The National Guard of the District of Columbia is investigating the use of one of its helicopters to make a "show of force" against protesters near the White House. The helicopter is normally designated for use in medical evacuations. But on Monday night, it hovered low enough in downtown Washington to create a deafening noise and spray protesters with rotor wash. The commanding general of the D.C. Two teenagers have been charged in connection with the death of a man found injured at the Great Frederick Fair in Maryland.The Frederick County Sheriff's Office responded to a report of an assault Friday near the midway area of the fairgrounds and found the 59-year-old victim unconscious, a news release from the agency said.The man was flown to the R. Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore for further treatment; he died Saturday, the release said. He was identified on Monday as John Marvin Weed, of Mount Airy, Maryland.Witnesses told investigators the man was the victim of an unprovoked attack, and two juvenile suspects were identified and located by deputies, the sheriff's office said.No weapons were used in the attack, the news release said.The teens, a 15-year-old male and a 16-year old male, are in the custody of the Department of Juvenile Services awaiting a hearing.They have both been charged, with the 15-year-old facing charges of reckless endangerment and first- and second-degree assault. The 16-year-old was charged with one count of second-degree assault, the news release said.The sheriff's office said it is working with prosecutors on possible additional charges.The victim's body has been sent to the state medical examiner's office for an autopsy and the sheriff's office is consulting with the state attorney's office to determine whether the teens will face additional charges, the sheriff's office said.Neither the teens nor the victim have been publicly identified. 1519
