(KGTV) — Businesses closed in preparation for Disneyland's plans for a 700-room hotel now face an uncertain future.A handful of Downtown Disney businesses closed as part of Disneyland's plans for the luxury hotel that would have been built in the district's west end.AMC 12 Theatres, Rainforest Cafe, ESPN Zone, Earl of Sandwich, Alamo Rent-a-Car, and the west-end Starbucks were all closed to make room for the hotel.RELATED: Disneyland pulls plug on luxury hotel, citing loss of tax breaksA Disney spokesperson told 10News that Earl of Sandwich had reopened as of Oct. 1.Despite this, the future of the businesses is uncertain, the spokesperson noted, "Downtown Disney continually changes and new and exciting things are always happening. (CNN) -- Jollibee, the Philippines' largest fast food chain, is taking a big step to expand its business internationally.The company said it plans to acquire California-based Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, which has nearly 1,200 stores across more than 25 countries. The brand's cafes serve brewed coffee and sweet blended drinks like chocolate cookie lattes and frozen mango sunrise ice blended tea.Jollibee wants to focus on growing the Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf brand in Asia. (KGTV) — At least 50,000 people were ordered to evacuate as multiple fires burned north of Los Angeles Thursday amid dangerously dry and windy conditions.The Tick Fire started about 2 p.m. in the Canyon Country area of Santa Clarita and spread east to Agua Dulce. Cal Fire reported about 8:30 p.m. the fire had spread to 3,950 acres. Several structures were lost. As of 6:20 p.m., firefighters had slowed the fire's progress.Mandatory Tick Fire evacuations are in effect for all residents north of 14 freeway, east of Whites/Plum Canyon, south of Vasquez Canyon, west of Agua Dolce.
