SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — A 20-year-old woman claims she was sexually assaulted for about 20 minutes during a Lyft ride in June.She's identified as Jane Roe in a civil lawsuit filed by Estey & Bomberger, LLP on Thursday. Roe tells 10News she has a disability and is unable to drive, she relies on Lyft to get to and from UCSD and around San Diego on a daily basis."I would use Lyft every day for about a year and a half," said Roe. "I would use it about 2-3 times a day."In June, Roe says she was using Lyft to travel from her father's home to her mother's, a 32-minute ride on the Interstate 5 that would forever change her life.RELATED: San Diego women reported in Uber, Lyft sex assault cases"He just asked me inappropriate questions," Roe said, referring to her driver. "He was commenting about inappropriate behaviors that he likes to do."Roe said the driver then told her to sit in the front passenger's seat, and out of fear she complied."The man.. he started touching me.. he groped my vagina, he groped my inner thighs, my thighs, my hamstrings," Roe said. She said the assault lasted between 15 and 20 minutes."I was kind of in a state of shock," Roe said. But Roe and her attorney, Mike Bomberger, say Lyft has been unresponsive."One of the things we don't know is what happened to the driver," Bomberger said.Roe and Bomberger allege that Lyft is not doing enough to keep passengers safe."Lyft fails to cooperate with police when there's an assault. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - A heartbroken local woman says her brother was killed in a Phoenix park while trying to 'protect his friends.'"He was infamous for making people laugh. He had a heart bigger than his being," said Amy Clark, Isaac Clark's sister. Last month, Isaac Clark, 23, moved from San Diego to Phoenix to be closer to his 4-year-old son. He had a job lined up doing event setup. Last Wednesday, Clark found himself in a park around 1 a.m. His sister Amy says he was checking on two friends, who had been evicted and were living in a car.Police say he heard a vehicle being vandalized, and headed toward the sound before realizing it was his friends' car. That is when the suspects approached Clark, sparking a fight. Clark was stabbed multiple times. He would die at the hospital."I feel like he died a hero. He tried to do the right thing. He was trying to protect his friends," said a tearful Amy Clark.Three people were arrested. Police say Maurice James, 24, and Eldon Sandoval, 18 are facing second-degree murder charges. A third person, Chantel Ben, 21, faces hindering prosecution chargers."They took my one-and-only sibling. They took my one-and-only baby brother from me," she said.An emotional vigil was held at that park a night after the incident. Clark's sister is haunted by their conversation about the violence in the world right before he left San Diego. "We were saying we just need to be more kind, more empathetic," she said.A grieving sister says that kindness was nowhere to be found In that park, early that morning."We need to get justice because he now has a 4-year-old son who has to live without him," she said.A GoFundMe campaign has been set up to help with funeral expenses and to set up a fund for his son. 1753

SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - 10News was there as an emotional burglary victim was reunited with her stolen Pekachu puppy.Ashley Morales was overcome with emotion as young Lorenz Lugg placed her 4-month-old puppy back in her arms. "I can't believe it. I never thought I would get him back," said Morales.On Monday, a distraught Morales sat down with 10news after a Sunday morning burglary at her Spring Valley condo on Madrid Way. As her children slept inside, a neighbor's surveillance cameras captured several suspects as they walked in and out of the condo. Missing from the home: a television, jewelry, and Snuffles the Pekachu."I just want my dog back," said Morales, as she pleaded for her puppy's return. What she didn't know was that her puppy was at Payd 2 Fade barber shop in the College Area. Shop owner Roc Lugg says early Monday afternoon, a man resembling the suspect in the video came in with a story."He had the dog, but was homeless and living out of his vehicle. Couldn't afford to take care of the dog anymore," said Lugg. When Lugg saw how well the dog was interacting with his own dog, he decided to purchase the puppy to give him a better home. He paid 0. Later that day, his wife got a big shock as she was watching 10news. She realized their new puppy was actually someone else's. Their young son led the charge to reunite puppy and owner."I was desperate to find them and give it back to them. He needed to be home," said Lorenz Lugg.The family called 10news and we called Morales. ="I'm glad humanity is still thriving ... I'm over the moon. I got my baby back. I can't believe it," said Morales.Morales did give the family a reward to help cover the money they spent on the purchase. No arrests have been made in the burglary investigation. 1769
