SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - San Diego Police are investigating Monday a woman's report that she was held against her will in Rancho Pe?asquitos.A woman arrived at a home on Caminito Cuadro at 10:45 a.m. and said she had been kidnapped and held captive in a neighboring house, police said. The location is in a residential area near SR-56 and Carmel Mountain Road.Neighbors told 10News they saw a naked woman covered in a bedsheet leave the home.The woman was taken to a nearby police station for an interview, police said.10News is monitoring developments in this story. 569

SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- San Diego Mayor Kevin Faulconer Monday signed an executive order that will allow certain businesses and places of worship to operate outdoors.In light of California’s restrictions on indoor operations and activities, the executive order will permit businesses such as gyms, churches, barbershops and hair/nail salons to “expand their operations into private parking lots,” City of San Diego officials said.The order takes effect immediately, although Faulconer said the state will have to amend its regulations for salons and barbershops to operate outside.Faulconer said, “Right now, we need to give our small businesses every tool possible to get through this difficult time or they might shut down for good. By allowing more and more businesses to operate outdoors, we are delivering solutions to help San Diego’s small businesses get to the other side of this pandemic while putting thousands of San Diegans back to work safely and responsibly with proper physical distancing.”The San Diego City Council will vote on the newest executive order into a city ordinance at a later date.On July 13, Gov. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — San Diego County’s public health officer said a Pacific Beach gym ordered to close last week has been linked to a community COVID-19 outbreak.The Gym, located at 2949 Garnett Ave., was ordered to close on July 23 for violating public health orders, according to a document from the county.County Public Health officer Wilma Wooten said the county discovered the outbreak on Tuesday. Wooten couldn’t offer any further details. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) – San Diego authorities are investigating a string of robberies involving thieves wielding hammers.San Diego police and sheriff’s department officials confirmed four incidents are being investigated, and they are trying to determine if the robberies are connected.At around 9:30 p.m. Tuesday, police were called to a Circle K store on Tierrasanta Boulevard due to a robbery carried out by multiple males armed with hammers. It is unknown what the thieves took in the robbery.About an hour later, a man told police that several men with hammers confronted him at a convenience store near Black Mountain Road and ransacked his car before fleeing.Several minutes later, police responded to a 911 call from a driver who reported being flagged down on Maya Linda Road by a man who said he was robbed by a group of people with hammers.A fourth robbery involving a group armed with hammers was reported at a 7-Eleven in Mira Mesa, authorities said.No injuries were reported in any of the incidents, ABC 10News learned.Authorities do not have detailed descriptions of the assailants. 1100

SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- San Diego police are investigating how a teenager ended up unconscious near a Walgreens store in Chollas View after her mother reported the girl had been kidnapped.The 13-year-old girl's mother called police shortly after 4 p.m. Monday and said her daughter was supposed to be at a friend’s house, but she later learned her daughter somehow ended up with a man she didn’t know.It is unclear how the woman determined her daughter was with the man.About 20 minutes later, police found the teen unconscious but breathing in the 600 block of Euclid Avenue. She was taken to the hospital, but her condition is unknown.Police said they are looking for the man that was believed with the teen. He is described as Hispanic, in his early 20s, with long hair. He was wearing reading glasses, a white T-shirt and possibly a black baseball cap. 860
