(KGTV) - A speeding U-Haul truck turned a neighborhood near La Mesa into a dumping ground Saturday afternoon. Along Tropico Drive, the sound of a speeding vehicle - and then a loud thud - startled Steve Haase in his driveway.  In the middle of the road was a couch, carpet padding, tile and a painting.    Haase lives on a cul-de-sac, so he knew the vehicle would have to come back around.  Haase walked into the road, and saw a mid-sized U-Haul truck.  He saw two men in their early 20s inside, laughing."They're coming down the street and I put my hand up.  They stop, but they get close, so I get out of the way. I then asked him if he was going to pick it up.  They said, 'Of course,' and then took off with big speed," said Haase.  810

Voters in San Diego County can do so at sdvote.com. Californians in other counties should visit vote.ca.gov.The deadline to register is October 19.The second thing you want to do is make a plan for how you will vote, either by mail or in-person.“Our recommendation, particularly with the pandemic, is to vote by mail in this upcoming election,” said San Diego County Registrar of Voters Michael Vu.Because of the pandemic, election officials are sending mail-in ballots to every active, registered voter in California for the first time in state history. As long as you’re registered by October 19, you’ll get one, Vu said.When you’re making your selections, “clearly mark that ballot, similar to when you’re going to a polling place with an ink pen. LAGUNA BEACH – A Tesla sedan that was traveling in autopilot mode crashed into a parked police vehicle in Laguna Beach Tuesday, according to KABC.Both vehicles were damaged after the crash, which sent the police vehicle sliding onto a sidewalk.The police SUV was unoccupied at the time of the crash and he driver of the Tesla sedan received minor injuries.Tesla previously said that its autopilot systems shouldn’t be used in spots with intersections, stop signs, red lights or suddenly changing traffic patterns.Drivers are also supposed to keep their hands on the wheel to maintain control of the vehicle, Tesla says.The circumstances surrounding the crash are unknown at this time. 692
