Last fall, Amazon launched a new service called Amazon Key, which allows customers to receive deliveries inside their home. Amazon is now taking that one step further and delivering packages inside your car.Alyssa Bronikowski with Amazon says, “What’s convenient about it is that you can now receive deliveries wherever you are.”Amazon says it’s simple to use. You need to download the Amazon Key app, and link your car before you begin shopping.There is one catch: You will need a 2015 or newer GM or Volvo vehicle with active OnStar or Volvo On Call account.These vehicles allow you to unlock your car wherever you are right before the driver arrives and lock it directly after the package is delivered.With the first version of Amazon Key, Amazon tried to eliminate porch poaching. But, this has many people wondering if the new version will cause more vehicle break-ins. LA MESA, Calif. (KGTV) — The officer at the center of a controversial arrest filmed in La Mesa is no longer employed with the department, according to the city.City manager Greg Humora said in a release on Friday that former LMPD officer Matt Dages is "not employed by the City of La Mesa in any capacity."The city could not comment on whether Dages resigned or was terminated.In June, video surfaced showing the May 27 altercation that had already started between Dages and 23-year-old Amaurie Johnson at Grossmont Trolley Station. In the video, Dages is seen pushing Johnson into a sitting position on a bench and eventually handcuffing and arresting him. Large U.S. employers saw their smallest health care cost increase in more than two decades due to COVID-19, and workers may benefit from that next year, according to the consulting firm Mercer.Patients stayed home and out of doctor’s offices this year to avoid the global pandemic, and that led to an average 1.9% cost hike for companies with 500 or more employees, Mercer found in a national survey.Those employers were expecting a 3.5% increase, said Beth Umland, Mercer’s director of health and benefits research.The lowest cost increase since 1997 will help many large employers avoid raising deductibles or doing other things to shift costs to workers in 2021, Umland said.Many companies also will spend some of what they saved adding programs that help improve the health of those covered by their plans. That could include expanding telemedicine, improving access to behavioral health care like therapy or adding programs that help people with a specific condition such as diabetes.Large employers pay their own health care claims. They can see fairly quickly if costs fall, unlike small employers that pay a fixed premium for coverage.Those employers may receive rebates for a similar drop in health care use, but they won’t know the extent of that until next year.Employer-sponsored health insurance covers about 157 million people, according to the non-profit Kaiser Family Foundation. 1403

LEE COUNTY, Fla. -- A Fort Myers, Florida brewery is creating a beer with a derivative of marijuana. It doesn't contain the THC that makes you high, but it does affect the aroma. Point Ybel Brewing Company has developed their SowFlo IPA, which they say is infused with essential oils from marijuana plants.The brew is available at their brewery in cans right now, but they plan to debut another big batch on tap on April 20th.Chief Photojournalist Curt Tremper takes a closer look in the video above and lets the brewers break it down for you in their own words.  596
